I got caught doing 86 in a 60 in my 1.3 Astra ages ago. if it makes any difference it was a warm dry day with nobody else about and a wide A-road but unfortunately a cop was waiting for me. the last thing I remember before seeing the blue lights was cheering and saying to my mate I was surprised it went that fast. I also picked up one for 36 in a 30 a few years ago. Neither of the above I'm very proud of!

surely this whole thread is a wind-up, if not I can't believe what I'm reading! we went through all this a few weeks ago. it just takes one to stir up the hornet's nest and off we go again. sigh... PS. I need a new lanyard as well cos mine still says SkylineDave :D

the problem with classic policies is that the insurers tend to require that the Z not be the main daily driver, which unfortunately mine is (or rather should be when I sort out the power drain :headvswal )

It certainly won't give you a 20-meg connection, but when your speed is as slow as yours then every kilobyte makes a difference!

Well my votes are for prize draws and a club calendar. This year I have an Aston Martin calendar hanging on the wall. Last year I had a Ferrari calendar. The year before that I had a sexy 300zx.co.uk calendar, with club members cars featuring each month. How about the club part-subsidising the production of these, and selling to members at a discounted price. Get member's interest and payment upfront so you're not let down by non-payers like we were before. PS. I'm loving the positive energy and ideas in this thread - let's keep it up! :)
