Here is my opinion, marble or any trick paint is fine if you are building a show car, for an everyday car you want something a little closer to standard, if it was me I would keep it the colour it came out of the factory with, get a nice tasteful interior and mod the engine.

When you go from dipped to main the dipped goes out, if you change the switching then you can get it so they are both on when your on main beam, the reason for that is a HID bulbs life is shortened by turning on off .

I think I remember that one, looked like the work had all been done to a high standard, but, to me its ruined the look of the car, saying that I am old and listen to Kate Bush so some may question my taste.

Anything is possible, but for what it would cost you could buy a convertible and bung loads and loads of mods on it, even probably make it a TT. So yeah, give it up :D :D

Surely now with decent TTs being sold for about £4k or less the import trade is going to die down, it must cost about that to bring in a car that you have never seen and will not know the true condition of? As for the rest of what you have said, I am just off to cry into my glass of whiskey :cry: :cry:

Yeah I know, may change the switching over when I get a weekend free, then going to fit HID to the main beam as well to make up for all the people that got away with leaving their main beams on and trying to blind me. :D :D

Mine is straight out of the box as well, to be honest I dont feel the need to use the main beam anymore as the dipped is brilliant.

Dont agree totally with that, if someone wants the car and everyone selling hiked their prices up then they would have to pay more if they wanted it, hopefully the prices have bottomed out now and as more and more of the dogs are broken up smashed up and left to die the good ones will shine through and the prices will rise.

you bunch of old women wanting to know who it was :D :D but sod giving them a chance name them anyway, sounds like they may have been trying it with other peoples accounts as well and the suspense is killing me so let us know. ;)

For the best results take them out, take them apart and do the job properly, down side is its a lot of work, put a weekend aside for it, second option which a few have done is a rag and coat hanger, the main part to clean is the domed projector lense you can see inside the headlight, remove the bulbs and do the best you can. Bestest option, :D , take them apart, clean them, have the inserts chromed, fit HID bulbs and put it all back together, thats what I did and the lights are awesome.

Cheapest option is to clean the insides as it can make a real difference and costs nothing, you will be surprised just how much grime is in there, I know I was.

I would have loved to have seen it for real, truely amazing thing to build, then dismantle it and move it and put it back up, they are talking about rebuilding something there in the future, one of the plans was an elevated glass structure.

Ive watched some of the kids there racing the nitro cars, bloody awesome .

They still race the cars on the track behind the stands at the weekends.
