Thanks to muffy and mickl I hope to have a replacement bonnet soon, this is going to have vents put in similar to james300 and I just wondered wether any of the guys here with vents in their bonnets have any problems with the engine getting wet when it rains, mainly concerned about the electrics getting soaked as I use the car daily, or am I better off trying to rig something up so that any water dripping down there is taken away via some pipework? any thoughts guys??

Mine are behind the front bumper, just for reference in the future, if anyone that has HID lights fitted finds one of their headlight fuses keeps blowing, it could be the ballast pack that has failed, mines been doing this and this is the cause, the ballast pack can apparently break down and they are, as you would expect a nightmare to find seperately and expensive. :cry:

parking aerial is a small aerial on the front bumper to aide parking, the aerial may have been removed and the switch left in, its very popular on Japanese imports.

no no no, you havent caught the bug till you realise that 99 spec lights are much more important than food :D :D

rear fog light, parking aerial or any number of weird and wonderful extras they fit in Japan that get taken off once over here due to the fact they are naff, I even had to remove a switch and wiring to additional boot lighting when I got mine.

But what would be the point of fining a Rich person say £500? it probably means nothing to them so its not really punishment whereas fine someone working in a warehouse with no spare cash £500 and they will feel it and may think twice before doing it again, it should be dished out depending on what money you have, especially those overpaid so called celebrities.

no I am sure this one was a drunken effort, I can see it now, wife moans so have another drink, at least thats what I do.

I kind of agree, some Peugeots and the like that you see done up like this it seems to suit, some cars it does not, in my opinion the 300 is one of the cars it doesnt suit, but like you said, who wants a boring world where we are all the same.
