yep, just about t make a phone call to get it sorted asap, (got the jap fest on the 10th ;) ). Right after trying to sort celica emissions. about to probe the o2 sensor. least its easy to find, sticks right out in yer face from downpipe as soon as u open the bonnet.wish they were that thoguhtful when they designed the Z cheers nick

Thanks for that will give it a look tomorrow. having a pretty bad couple of days so far.... 1st this; also think the prop on the z is shot (about to fall off judging by the racket) and to finish off had an RTA this morning on a driving test ( i was the examiner) and have spent most of the day waiting to be seen at a&e with whiplash. :( :( still things could be worse, i think. nick

i know this isn't a z problem but could do with some quick advice from some of the many experts on this site. my 94 celica has just failed mot on emisions only. garage reckons it may be the cat :cry: results were fast idle co = 4.25% FAIL hc = 124ppm PASS lambada = 0.89 FAIL 2nd fast idle co = 3.52% FAIL hc = 119ppm pass lambada = 0.90 FAIL natural idle co = 0.34 pass now i've just fitted a k&n induction kit, could this mess up emissions?i know the co levels are way off. also is there anything i can do to get emissions down enuff eg. fuel additives etc. any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers nick

Just got back from the coast. on way i floored accelerator to overtake two cars, on full boost(stock gauge) but when releasing accelerator on over-run saw cloud of white smoke in mirror :cry: went for another overtake and same happened again, only did it on full throttle. :cry: :cry: stopped in pub car park and opened bonnet to find that the dipstick had popped out a little and hot oil was spitting out!! after drowning sorrows in pub drove home (bout 30miles) but this time no matter how hard i gunned it no smoke. however i think i'm getting really paranoid cos when i slowed near home i could smell a clutch burning smell and the auto box seemed noisier than normal :confused: :confused: Think i might be losing the plot. the car's been perfect since i've had it for almost a year. now the warrenty (for wot its worth) is about to run out i think its sarting to fall apart around me. would be grateful for any help, advice. oh and if your about james300 thinked i jinxed it when i told u there were no problems at all with it yesterday :cry: :cry: cheers nick

hi mate May be worth having a go at yourself just fitted mine today. they really are the easiest pads i've ever fitted to any car!! :D just printed off the page from the online manual. basically its one clip and two pins holding it all in. HTH nick
