i lost my only key on first day i had it. breakdown peeps sent locksmith. he opened door in about 45seconds and then took out boot lock and cut me new key from it in back of his van in about 10mins. all for £20!! since found original, so not bad for a spare:D

wipers have decided that they are gonna park half way across screen. only happens occasionally but very annoying cos i have to spend time flicking them on and off til they park properly, not too clever when your trying to look at road ahead in rain. any ideas on how to adjust park mechanism. cheers nick

yep m8, exactly same problem mine had. dont know why but new battery sorted it! nick

i had the same problem, then two days later battery packed up!!!, new battery solved it & also turbo timer that had not worked properly suddenly came to life, weird:confused: nick

think i may have just solved it. corroded terminals on coolent temperature switch. cleaned them up and every thing seems fine, even hesitation stopped. watch this space:)

jus gone to vodafone, cos of their 250texts/600 off peak mins for 15.99 month nick

just run ecu diagnostics, no faults showing. car starting ok this morning but hesitating when accelerator depressed. am about to clean ptu contacts & wd40 everything. any advice/suggestions greatly appreciated. does this mean that ptu not faulty or could it still be even though diagnostics ok? still not sure about cross channel trip on saturday cheers nick

drove car 50miles to work today, sweet as ever, switched off engine & tried to restart but it wouldnt fire. eventually called out breakdown.he said engine flooded & managed to start it by taking out fuel pump fuse, turning engine over & then quickly puttin fuse in. car ran rough to start hesitating when accelerating but after bout 20 miles seemed fine. went out again tonight (to pub),started and ran fine but then wouldn't start again to come home. used same method as b4 to eventualy start it(took bloody long time), same as b4 hesitant on acceleration but fine apart from that. any ideas on this please, was meant to b taking Z cross channel on saturday, me thinks not now:( :( :confused: cheers nick p.s. not had chance to run diagnostic yet

hi this has probably been asked and answered many times before(did search but couldn't find anything relevent)... is there a way of removing restrictor on cruise control cos its a bit of a pain in butt for it to stop at 69mph. i'm assuming that there is some sort of restrictor on system or if not i've got big problem wiv my cruise control ..... bugger:rolleyes: cheers nick

ok, just pulled front panel to look at induction. car has big single cone, looks like its held on by big jubilee and and plug/sensor in side of unit. does this sound like standard filter/induction or has it been uprated. just found out the fun way that the speed restricters been sorted:D :D cheers nick p.s. subscription cheque is in post :)

ok silly question number two. still having fun with new car(90T/T). have noticed green wire disappearing into wooden panel in passenger footwell.(ECU??). not had a chance to investigate yet, anyone know wot it might be for? cheers nick
