  2. if i can do it you can too buddy just look at the face below do you think u got what it takes? :D
  3. hmmmmmmm. im gunna test the maf again 2mow, think im also gunna take out the aac and take it apart although ive already cleaned the crap out of it. So a duff o2 will make the car wanna stall? keep hearing different things from people. dunno who to listen to :( also on the us site someone is saying a bad o2 will affect idle. hmmmmm few more things to keep me busy then. Doesnt anyone know the syptoms of a bad tps on a manual?
  4. find an old tyre valve from a tyre shop and cut the end of a water bottle or something of correct size then make a hole in the centre of the bottle just big enough to pull the valve through and make a tight seal :D shuv on the end of intake apply pressure listen for hiss, spray soapy water over noise area hay presto.
  5. get your airleak sorted mate. do an air leak test. very easy.
  6. unless your a midget and with a slicktop your screwed!!!!
  7. Have already replaced the ecu with no joy :( unless its the chip? no, o2 sensors dont do much on idle, but a faulty one will keep the o2 rating at a set reading i think somewhere between 30-33 runnign slighty rich for safety i would imagine. mine didnt read anything at all as there was a short, i dont know what the ecu would do in that situation there was no reading at all on the consult. Il get another vid of it idling soon in the week. but i can tell you that once driven for a while the idle gets worse and moves from 500rpm to 1000rpm constantly in fast loops if that makes sense. kinda like what it does in the vid after i have blipped the throttle where it drops to 500 and back up to 1000 but imagine that continuely p.s the ecu/chip was still hanging when trying to copy the chip info. dunno what this means.
  8. Here is a video of the prob im having. seems to be slightly less hesitation with tps disconnected more noticeable when driving. Left o2 sensor has been succesfully fixed, thanks to jimmer's suggestion and the help of vjay and his trusty laptop :D Once the car has been driven for a few miles the idle really starts to shoot up and down. these vids are of the car warmed up and stationary so has not been driven. First video is with tps connected and blipping the throttle: Second vid is with tps disconnected and blipping the throttle:
  9. Everyone has missed out one very important fact with the lwb, its the only one you can shag in, and shagging is important its the base of our existance and if we couldnt do it we wouldnt be here, so the lwb is the most important end of story lwb all the way :D
  10. try living on my road, loads of prats drive by all day, fiestas with giant exhausts, loads of bikes etc, ive lived here 5 years and ive seen a handful of accidents on my road. Cars parked on my road often get taken out big time. mine lives on the drive.
  11. So you must have reheated and glazed the old clutch over and over till it disintergrated maybe? all that slipping.
  12. haha just wanted to spark you off haha, it worked didnt it ;) i change my oil every 1000 miles, dont want dirty oil in my turbos thanks ;)
  13. wow its just a filter guys........
  14. i disagree, the shorter the car the more twitchy and also less stable.
  15. lwb has a longer wheel base...... quiet smellraiser
  16. well lets see if we get any interest :D
  17. lwb is the only zed that you can drift.....and put your shopping in :D
  18. Maybe we should organise a meet :D could chuck a few bits on a bbq on my drive... would be nice with the view of the park and all the fit birds who walk past all day especially on a saturday ;)
  19. I just sent off my rear camber rose joint to a specialist, they will supply me with what i need. Just took a pic of where its fitted and whats needed. Will be a teflon coated rose lining or something like and a misalignment spacer/washer etc..... real strong stuff anyhow. :D
  20. Im looking for some kind of washer to fit between the rear camber arm and subframe lug. its the hole where the bolt slides through the rose joint and into the subframe, holes too big and i need something to fill it up so there is no movement under stress if you follow me? so i suppose i need a washer with a machined lip to fit in the hole!!!..... something like that.
  21. depends what time, early morning is best for me.
