Has anyone looked up the dictionary what the word "SuperCar" actually means yet... Be interesting to know what defines a super car!! Was the 300ZX just a "wannabe" supercar then?? Many of us have upgraded the standard car to give supercar performance... Why do we compaire them to MR2 Turbo's sometimes and Scoobies etc then if our cars are Super??!!!

I think it's a love hate thing with the 300ZX really, If the rolls we're reversed and we all drove around in NSX's instead becuase they depreciated in value rather than the 300ZX and the 300ZX was a rarer beast would be all wanting to be in a 300ZX instead???? Generally I know the NSX is a quick car but a 300ZXTT can be a lot quicker...

Noooooooooo! :nono: Def not!!! Before I got my uk chipped and had the boost upgrade done on the standard chip on the rolling road it would rev out at 165Mph and that was at 6812RPM!!!

Top speed of the TT is rev limited to 165MPH not 155MPH... Thats beamers and mercs!!! 0-60 5.5+

I used cossie greens on my old Siliva which used the CA18DET Engine... Worked a bloody treat!!! Get your fuel pump upgraded to so you get the flow!!!

Most power runs are done using 4th Gear because that gear is a 1:1 ratio to give you your true BHP and power at the wheels etc... You can do it in 5th gear though and get a full dyno plot so you know what the cars doing at any given RPM... If it's a good modern rolling road you'll get a read out of the max RPM, BHP, Boost, intake temps etc.. Your Z will hit the rev limiter at some point but it depends on how the Mines ECU is mapped and what for.. Most aftermarket chips will give and extra 200RPM over standard so you should be hitting it around the 7400 Rpm mark..

Well even a standard TT would no problem providing it's running correctly... Did this on mine when I first got before any boost and engine upgrades on standard 16" rubber so that's how I know they will... With my mods now tend to use the much safer option of a rolling road as it now tops out at 189Mph at 7521 Rpm!!! Would need 20" wheels to break the magic 200MPH barrier or alter me final drive gear ratio!
