  1. Apperemtly Bannanas help with cramp
  2. Cool, what sort of things have you removed then? Cool weighbridge, that sounds good idea, no idea where i would find one. I could but a household scale under each wheel haha.
  3. The Garage i think is fitting the batter in the boot. When you say Na rear end what do you mean by that? As i will be getting a Uprated Diff at some point which should hopfully be lighter. Lol i can't it has to stay i get travel sickness.
  4. weekend car. The insurance would be too much, with the mods too expensive to run daily and most importantly it gives me something to look forward to after a carppy week.
  5. ooo..... interesting a ZX ethusiast who is also a sprayer from Norfolk ;) Do you run your own buisiness? And welcome to the club.
  6. yeah, i have seen some pics. I wont be taking in on track much and would take it fairly easy. So in my case a roll cage is pointless as i could stiffen the car up other ways. plus it's adding extra weight after stripping some out. Cool, i'll give it a go then with a stripped out rear, plus it will give me that extra lil poke while running it in as i can't thrash it so the weight factor will make it feel a lil faster.
  7. This is a very interesting post as mine will be ready to run in within a month. Can this be made more idiot proof, horning? rabbits? loads? In plain english for the simpletons on here, what is the best way to run a engine in? i'm running big mods and a basic map for running in on a Aem.
  8. omg check my typos, yikes.... I feel dooopid now. Differening haha, i made a new word :), like my use of anyway, anyway that's enough ner ner.
  9. I know the is a guide some where but i was thinking about removing all interior trims from the boot and boot lid, carpet, spare wheel, rear seats. and fitting light weight front seats. So pretty much any trim in the rear will be coming out along with seats. Would the rear end be too light for the car and suffer from traction problems? Stripping weight is important but i then don't want the car to suffer from a traction problem, the rear end will be running 295's to help things. and it will be running a fair bit more than stock bhp. I want to fit bucket seats anyway and slam the car so i probably wont be able to get anyway in the back anyway so what's the point in having all that extra weight for no reason. I want to strip as much weight from the car where i can. and no the air con is staying lol. :wack: Also a roll cage, do these make any difference as in diffening up the car to improve handling or are they purely cosmetic a look at me thing?
  10. yeah they do look cool. just means i can't get the gauges i wanted if i went down this route. shame there isn't anywhere which has them on show.
  11. omg have you seen the Defi's in action my mate has them in his GT4 and they are awesome. Was wondering what other brands do them. I love the Blitz MD and BLM and would get them if it wasn't for they can't do the record thingy. what a bum hey.
  12. it would actually be a nice Zed without those gay badges on.
  13. there is such a wide choice, some real bargains on ebay. Rich i don't see why they would have some way of flipping forward if they are recliner.
  14. I still have the yucki tweed but planing on getting a retrim. I like the idea of different (aftermarket) front seats but if i was to retrim the interior do i also retrim the aftermarket front seats?? or leave them as bought?? Also i want recliners and to be able to work with the stock electrics. What has everyone else done and the more the pics the better so i can decide what route to go down. why thanking you.
  15. haha i always sit next to the pump while is ticking the count down i have sit there having stares, looks and all sorts from stress heads waiting for me haha.
  16. Hey, My dump valves are fitted to the top of my engine on the turbo pipes which run parralell to my inlet pipes. My inlet pipes are chromed and big, my tubo pipes are a dull metal colour and not as big as they are for my blitz dump valve. Should i leave the dump valve there? or relocate and go for same size turbo pipes as intlet pipes? if so where should i fit the dump valves?
  17. omg never guess what now, the first engine shop have machined the crank to the wrong size for my toga bearings. what a **** up. This is one problem after another.
  18. Greg i have passed that information on and they are now after the main Stud torque.
  19. thank you ever so much.
  20. The engine shop said the instructions are missing, i assume they are after the torque settings. Does anyone know what they should be or better still could email me a copy of the needed information they are after. I'm in a lil hurry for this one, sorry.
  21. It's all getting rather confusing lol. Thanks for the help, i will have a lil dig around now i know where to start. The os kit doesn't come with uprated syncro's does it.
