  1. woops forgot to add the serious points, Cheaper wippers do this but you could try stripping the mechanism and cleaning it while adding a bit of WD40 or something
  2. turn the radio up or louder exhaust
  3. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/PMClarkson/ you know it makes sense :D
  4. Nismo make a nice gearstick in titanium and the rest if it was me i would get momo. momo gaiters all round and a momo handbreak.
  5. Anyone heard of these? they are local never knew they were about and seem pretty big. I currently attend the Tengoku meets which is my other local one. http://www.bigpower.co.uk/forum/portal.php
  6. where is the i'm thinking about it poll choice?? haha
  7. i'll try plugs and leads as they are cheap and probably due for a change. The hole in the exhaust is right near the rear box. nope not really any short journeys.
  8. what kind of treatment did they use, is it worth giving this a try? I do a reasonable amount of miles in it, hardly do any short trips like work is a 25 min drive if the words were completly clear.
  9. nope i've checked all them.
  10. are these fitted to the exhaust? what am i looking for, to make sure it's connected and not too dirty?
  11. Why would my 1.6 be so heavy on fuel at the moment? i do have a hole in the exhaust, is there anything else i could check which effects the fuel consumption e.g. plugs? It's starting to get annoying, i even tried a Ecotek valve to improve the fuel econemy.
  12. i used to be insured with Adrian Fluxx. Now trying a Zurich online quote it took me through to like a online mssenger service which is a really good idea.
  13. cheers, i'll have a lil lookie for that.
  14. Scissors and a hammer :D I can get access to a welder and a angle grinder but..... my last weld atempt ended up with one very burnt arm and a big but not affective bulge on the exhaust pipe. It soon soon started to blow again.
  15. better add i'm not making a :smw: job on the Zed but on my Almera. i can't justify spending £160 on a nice shiney exhaust on a old Almera so i'm going to get a universal jobby and do it myself. So the really silly question ready?? how do you fit them? What i mean is my exhaust pipe comes out and bends upwards, so how do you get the universal rear box to fit the mid section which i've already hacked the bracket off where you bolt the 2 together. box in piccie wrong way up but that shows how the stock pipe bends up. exhaust
  16. serious power :D cool, what about the profile for the front? 285's it is then.
  17. poor you, :D mmm.... Ferrari.
  18. just looked at the website, all explained. would you do this if you were to have a wide arch kit fitted?
  19. i'm not really that sure what you had done, looks like a new kind of clamp to me ha.
  20. Cool ok, they are slightly cheaper too  What size tyres would you run on the fronts? Thanks.
  21. would you not try and get a 295 on the rears? i'm only thinking that it's slighty larger surface area and not only that the rims are expensive so if i was to curb them then i would have more chance clipping the tyre rather than the rim.
  22. I've found a price which i'm willing to pay and they are local. I'm going for 10's on the rear but what about the front? my choices are 8's or 9's And tyres the rears i'm going with either a 285 or 295 but what about the profile? Also on the fronts what is best recomended diamator and profile? keeping in mind i'm not sure what size rim is best for the front neither.
  23. rear looks like Veilside Supra/Nsx Fortune kits.
