oh what mods would be needed for it to be safe for the engine to rev higher. Andy see my rides section what would i need to add to my car on top of current spec?

Next big mod will be gearbox but the Os Giken kit is a lower top end which sucks so to get there is will have to be a 6 speed sequential gearbox which costs allot of dosh so that wont come until very late next year if not year after. Also i want either a leader gear diff cog or a diff geared for acceleration but i'm going to be further away from that golden 200mph mark. it's a hard deccision to make why can't we have the best of both worlds haha, everyone uses their acceleration all the time the top end is just for those very occasional occasions but it's all about being able to hit 200mph.

I would love my manual to hit at least 200mph, it's running enough power but i don't think the gearbox will allow it.

Don't forget changing the wheel size make the speedo lie. also does the diff make any difference? where is the speed sensor?

i may have a brand new head gasket but will need to check. basicly i ordered a gasket set for my rebuild and a head gasket seperatly so may still have a brand new stock one sitting about.

Oh right, well i'll just see if it does it naturally then. Fingers crossed not long now :)

Before anyone say stick a spark plug on the exhaust nooooo.......... I want the natural flame from shere power. Does anyones do this? and what mods have they done so it starts to do this. Also do certain mods make the car sound different with exceptions to the airfilters and exhausts as that's pretty obvious??? Also what about manifolds and downpipes do they alter the sound?

You need to print off as many prices as you can from different sources with a very similar spec. So club cars would be good in for sale section, Auto Trader, Exchange mart. etc etc. Try Keighley trade centre for prices as they have a couple of Zeds. If you only bought the car a few months can, do you have any reciepts? or can show them a bank statement prooving how much you spent on it? ok a car can depreciate £4000 in a year but we are talking about brand new cars NOT 10 year old cars which may loose £0-500 obvisuly depending on how many miles you clocked up in those 6 months and condition it is in to when you bought it. Go and kick some nuts, they take the piss and never accept the first offer as they will try and get away paying as little as possible.

Smithy got me a really good price on some Ksport coilovers. Ksport is D2 racing sister company they are the exact same product but in orange rather than pink. You will need to get in contact with Danny @ DTA for these now but they are very well priced.

what's a good mag these days? I heard the Chav mag Max Power has turned around. Ha my mate with a chaved up corsa was moaning as they no longer feature cars like his and only do high performance vehicles

Cool that's handy thanks, done the unsprung weight and drivetrain then. Is the NA rear end just as strong as the TT except from the Diff as i know they can't handle as much power. Seats are next on the wish list, tell lie they are after Exhausts. I can't find any information on the weight of them though.

How hard is it to get one? The car has been off the road for 2 years having all the engine n that done/rebuilt. I hope to be running some big power. The Body work is ok, not brill but with subtle mods also stock wheels. I would love to go for a feature now while it's looking like this and then once the kit has been fitted and sprayed and wheels fitted i would like a front cover feature which i'm confident i should be able to get. The kit/Wheels are currently on order and would like to think it would be fitted/sprayed just before the end of the year. So basicly what are my chances getting a feature now with ok bodywork and stock rims and also getting a front cover once all complete? Look on my rides section for pics as it is now, but keeping in mind it was still wet at the time so trick of the camera to get better pics.
