Careful mate, i have these. The screws have all gone rusty. How did you find fitement? My dash was so bad i had problems fitting them as the dash kept popping them off as it was so badly sun damaged.

Just be careful and look around and do your research or you will end up like me. Proper screwed over and lost heart and sould in my car. Christ they have no idea the impact it's on on me as a person.

Can i make you a suggestion? and buy my engine package. Very high spec some bits better and more included than in the Z1 package listed above as i looked at their spec ordered most the parts plus more and took it to the next step. I will do you a good deal and you will save a fortune. Everything is brand new with the odd exception. Genuine reason for sale, with proof and emails. Is it possibly fitted the wrong way around?

To be honest mate i would rather sell the engine lot as a package. I have loads other bits also which i may be selling which i will list as seperate items. I might be selling the Aem EMS, Brand New Turbos, Labree 3" exhaust system, Greddy FMIC, koyo rad and Ash shoud plus fan. you name it i have it lol. Everything will be possibly for sale. It is a matter of time now, waiting for one email and one phone call then the decision is made.

Everything down to the lug nuts was declaired on my current setup. So swapping the engine would be a smaller spec list in a way. And probably output same kind of power but would be delivered differently and sound completly different.

That is engine parts only. I have loads other parts which i will split as i believe it will be easier to sell. There is allot of money worth here and i mean allot of money worth. I would also like to sell with the block i have. I am not 100% decided on this yet. Everything is brand new except Manifolds, fuel rails and injectors which have covered only 2000 mile but have been flow tested. Oh bum, just realised i missed few bits off that lot. I have spit fire coil packs, aftermarket engine mounts and spark plugs. Think that is everything maybe even more.

there is hope for me then. Still a big decision to make.

How does this work? If you were going to do a engine swap how does this affect the insurance? Lets say i had a big bhp VG engine insured how would the price compare with a insurance company on a engine swap? Is it more difficult to insure? I am currently with Adrian Flux i am sure they would insure a engine swap but at what price who knows. It may even be cheaper as it may be classed as a kit car. Who knows. I have no idea how insurance companies see and work with engine swaps. Can someone shed some light on this please.

I might do. It may be the case of having to put it all behind me and moving on. I have another route i might go down with the Zed. It could be very interesting and exciting if it comes off. We will see. I have allot to think about and consider and still in negotiations.

On being selling the lot as a package, along with other bits i have also. Everything is brand new regarding internals and anything which isnt brand new (bolt ons) have covered about 2000 miles. There would be allot more i could add to the everything above. Think what i would do is sell that lot above as a package then the other items seperatly. It honestly is at a state just to be assembled, would make a ideal package for someone as they could take my machined block which is ready to go together get all the parts above fitted and assembled and then to a swap with their engine with very little down time and have the assurance that everything is new and can be seen with their own eyes. Just need to work out some kind of price. Will be a big loss for me but at least i can put it all behind me and move on. Clear my mind of it all. Its just a idea at the mo though.

How much would you expect i would get if i was to sell a empty block and all my uprated internals as a package? I am considering all options at the moment. The block is all machined and ready to be assembled, same with heads. I have a full set of internals. Everything in the engine is uprated except lifters and crank which has been machined. Wiseco pistons. Eagle Rods. JWT cams ACL bearings. BDE adjustable cam gears Tomie adjustable cam gears Ferra Springs Ferra valves Ferra retainers after market valve guides. after market valve stems. 300 degree rails 850cc injectors Z1 throttle bodies mike smith manifolds SZ down pipes Possibly missed something from the list. Everything brand new weighed balanced and lightened where needed. All engine parts machined Plenum ported and machined to accept throttle bodies Heads Ported and machined Block mahined, bored with a good finish. It will be ready to put together. how much is the lot worth as a package? How hard would it be to sell do you think? If i did go down this route there would be allot of other parts for sale also including labree exhaust system, AEM EMS yeah etc. etc.

omg that is a really good idea. Wonder what the insurance company will say? Im sure they will sting you for a engine swap as you prob know with the V8 even if it is a slower engine would probably cost twice as much to insure as a stock Zed

Just curious what people can come up with of interesting engine swaps in the 300. Several have V8's now. I will start, always thought the Skyline RB26 would be a good engine but why not take that one step further with a RB30? Also a Mazda 20B rotary would be fun. Ok, just made a edit, say what car the engine is from.
