  1. Just a quick hello and cheers for calling by yesterday to Silverfox! We'd never met before other than passing each other in our zeds. I was dutifully waxing away when a very nice black NA cruised passed, then revesed back up the street and out hoped the man himself for a bit of a Zed chit-chat!! How many other car owners would stop for a natter with a stranger just because they had the same type of car!! ZEDS AND THEIR OWNERS RULE!!!!!
  2. Ok guys I'll try and get it done after work today!!
  3. I got my car back from PPS on friday afternoon with a lovely new '99 spec front end. Peter and the lads have made the front end shine like glass!! I 110% recommend anyone to go there for bodywork! You will not be disapointed.... THANKS VERY MUCH GUYS!!! :hyper:
  4. I'll just echo the comments of all so far... Glad you're ok! It's only metal and plastic!! You ARE a very very lucky chap!!
  5. I've been getting them for the past 3 bloody months!! :nono: They're normally sized at about 20-35kb with an attachment and a couple of them I've had have been titled - Re: Re: Document - and - Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender . I just delete anything which ain't from people in my address book or names of friends. Why do people feel the need to FVCK things up for the rest of us???
  6. I was lucky enough to see your car in the flesh at Peter's last week and it gets a massive thumbs up from me!!! :)

I'm on 22 too.....got the 360 moderna yesterday. Was there some speculation about it being the "golden car"..???
  11. LOL!! :D Sorry, I can't post pics, but basically... Just a around the rubber seals (not the vinyl bits) above where the locking bars go from the targa into the A-pillars. I recomend a really thin smearing as that's all it took for me. Good luck!! :)
  12. Since I've had my Zed it's had leaky targas. Not too bad but if it rained all night I'd be driving to work sitting in a damp patch (if you know what i mean  ) Well, last weekend i was tinkering with the car and noticed an old tube of silicone in my toolbox so i thought I'd try applying a very light smearing on the seals with my finger (to protect them as much as anything) and today when I got in the car(it pi$$ed down all night up here!!) not even a single drip!! It's worth a try IMHO, but remember to let it dry properly before you replace the targas!! Cheers,Glenn.....
  13. That'll have been me then!!! I'm still not awake enough at that time in the morning to worry anyone though... :( Twas a very nice Z3 though!! :)
  14. Likewise fellas!! In fact I tend to get 'em off whenever it's a bit sunny :) even when we had all that snow a few weeks back, the sun came out for a couple of hours, the roof was off and the hat and scarf were on!! I also found it's the best way to clear a fuzzy head after a boozy night.... :duffer:
  15. Silverfox, It is all fixed up.....now it's just waiting for a nice shiney 99 spec front bumper from Luke at Zcentre, to fitted by Peter at PPS and driven by me at high speed!!! :hyper:
  16. Wasn't me.....mine's black  lol Did you have any luck getting finding one yet?? Maybe worth trying A1 performance at autopark, they've had a few in that I know of. :)
  17. WOW Mark!!! That is a fookin' lovely choice of colour!! If I ever get anything but black that's the colour for me!!! Nice one!!! :D

  20. Go on........you know you want to.......CLOUT the little buggger!! :D http://www.korenwolf.net/pingu/pinguin.swf
  21. Some of my Italian mates were there about 2 weeks ago and said there was 2 metres of lovely fresh powder off piste........... :hyper: BA$TARDS!!!!!!! Have a mint time mate!!!! ;)
  22. That is beautiful!! Dunno if I could bring myself to drive it though, it needs to be preseved in a glass case and lightly dusted every couple of months!! An eternal icon to the motoring world.....BOW DOWN AND KISS THE RING!!!!.....As they say! :D On another note! I've never seen the sport/touring button for the suspension setting before, is it just a yank thing or has anyone else got it too???
  23. But you need to assemble the thing, drive the car onto it and then jack the whole lot up with a hydraullic-jack anyway...?? Seems a lot of fuss and expense to me. Better off investing a set of quality axle stands......But then, I'm no mechanic!! ;)
  24. Ignore that mate!! I've got the mail and so have you!!! :)
