I wrote this in another post a few days ago.... The car runs and accelerates fine! Although I did get blasted by an '03' porsche 911 turbo last night, mind you when we were stopped at the lights he did mention that it's not very often that he needs to boot it to leave people!! :D :D :D But that's it to date, it costs too much to boot it just to blow some crappy little 'novawithmassivealloysandashitebodykit' away and most other stuff just moves out of the way:( :dance:

Just did the battery thing this morning and connected it again now!! It worked a treat! Lovely jubbly!!!!!:D

Depending on what you were ordering, have you tried www.play.com . I used to order from them while I was living in Italy and using a U.K solo card and they were both prompt, efficient, cheaper and never asked me to send personal info by post, e-mail or fax.:) Hope it helps!!:D

Got some carb cleaner and gave the throttle bodies a quick clean last night! I think I did it all properly, took off the pipes, opened them up, loosened all the black cack off with a toothbrush, wiped it clean with a soft cloth, put everything back together and then screwed it all up tight again!! My problem is that the idle is now at about 1000rpm instead of 7-800 as it was before. Do you think it will drop after a few drives or should I reset/adjust something?? Very nice mate!!:cool: I've been thinking about doing that for a while, but I wasn't sure how the paint would take to them....:confused: What did you use and how durable do you think it's gonna be?? I've already done the centre bit (with the vents and stereo in) with Plastcote, but i'm not too happy cos it's already got a couple of tiny scratches in it. I was thinking of trying Hammerite smooth spray. I used this on bikes before and it lasted well. Any tips?? (related to spraying!! Thanks!!) Cheers!!:)

I like the smoothed too! Kinda gives a nice rounded modern look to the front end. Personal opinion really though, isn't it!!

I know this is an old thread (too much time to waste at work) so ignore it if you wish. I've never been any kind of authority on Pugs but I remember Gavo's and another mate's and I'm almost sure the stock ride height was lower than that and the back-box had astraight out larger bore pipe...:confused: Don't get me wrong I'm not having a dig at your car mate, (Top-gear predicted them as a future classic) but it might be worth checking out for peace of mind. Especialy on those roundabouts!!!:D :p :D

Are you seeing the leak from under the car or at the top?? Could it not simply be your AC condensation?? Just guessing really:D it's all too new to me!!
