Cheers Andy! TBH is seemed a bit too good to be true, but I thought I'd ask anyway. The Tsunami guys seem sincere enough and they are a well helpfully tunning shop for anyone in the Newcastle area.

Yesterday evening I was at a place called "Tsunami Racing" getting a nice shiney new filter fitted and whilst chatting to the guy there about other future ways to give me more power he said that he'd read about some sort of 'emissions control valve' that comes on Jap spec models...??...and if this valve is removed you can get about another 10-15bhp. He reckons it's a half-hour job. Anyone know what he is on about and if so, is it safe to do and does it work....?

No guidance or help from me mate, I'm new to this ZX lark, but mines a 97 jap TT manual and it changes silky smooth at low/normal driving speeds and little clunky in hard acceleration. Also from 5th, when going to 4th (for overtaking, etc;) ) it's sometimes tricky to find first time, but these errors I'm putting down to lack of oneness with that car at the moment (I've only had it a couple of weeks). The one thing I know is not my fault is an intrmittent knocking noise in reverse. I was thinking of putting slick 50 into the box as a friend did this to his Pug 309 several years ago and improved the car's changing 100%. Any info/advice for me would be welcome too............. Sounds good!! What kind is it and will it work with a Cobra alarm/imobiliser? I want one that activates the alarm when the engine goes off and kills the engine if the hand-brake is realeased/doors opened. I know I'm a picky bugger, but I don't want my Zed goin' anywhere without me!:D

Help!! I'm after an induction system and have no clue wtf to buy...:confused: ...I was looking at Blitz or Apexi cos I've been told that the foam HKS ones and the K&N ones are a bit poor and not good for your engine.(oily deposits 'n' stuff) C'mon, give that massive vat of knowledge a big stir and lets see what drains out into my glass!!:D

Huh!?! Now I getting a tad confussed...mine's a 97 jap import and the belts are on the door pillars:confused: . Also the HICAS servo thing doesn't seem to be where it should be under the bonnet(all the others I've seen are above the drivers-side headlamp). Anyone have any ideas???
