Since I've had my Zed it's had leaky targas. Not too bad but if it rained all night I'd be driving to work sitting in a damp patch (if you know what i mean  ) Well, last weekend i was tinkering with the car and noticed an old tube of silicone in my toolbox so i thought I'd try applying a very light smearing on the seals with my finger (to protect them as much as anything) and today when I got in the car(it pi$$ed down all night up here!!) not even a single drip!!
It's worth a try IMHO, but remember to let it dry properly before you replace the targas!!
