  1. well it changed as soon as I did what I thought would change it:confused:
  2. I seemed to manage it! I just edited my original post and at the top it let me change the title.
  3. saw it when I drove through Pwllheli on Friday afternoon/evening, parked near to the main roundabout in the town centre.
  4. I was in your neck of the woods over the weekend. Camped over at Porth Ceriad. I don't suppose you know a chap near you with a rather fast silver golf GTI do you? I had one following me when I was driving over and he made me feel a little silly as I couldn't gain an inch on him, he was stuck to my bumper up to some silly speeds. I know my Z is only standard, but I'm sure I should be able to see off a Golf GTI! I don't know what he must have had under the bonnet.
  5. I've literally only just had that sorted on mine after an AA chap jacked it up on the seam. The AA payed for it all to be done, which I was quite impressed with as strictly there was no way I could prove it was them.
  6. That's a very nice rear demister switch you've got ;)! Seriously though, nice video!
  7. As much as I like the 99 spec front, I agree with znut that it makes the car look a little tame, and it somehow doesn't look as low/wide. Personally I'd also vote for the current front but with a stillen lip.
  8. Just rung the insurance now, cost me an extra £10 for the year, so I can't really moan too much.
  9. Thanks cybernet, so no UK car has a centre brake light? Wonder why?
  10. Was it possible to buy a 300zx without a centre brake light? Mine had a blank when I bought it, but I assumed that was just because it had a replacement spoiler, but now I've removed the spoiler there are no wires for a brake light. I assumed they all came with one.
  11. I'm hopefully going to get my 99 spoiler fitted soon. Is that something I need to tell the insurance about, seeing as it's kind of stock? Guess the safe thing would be to ring them and explain what it is and see what they say. Have other people had to declare it as a mod?
  12. I'm probably the only one, but I'm not keen myself, think it makes the body coloured strips over the doors/boot look like railings. But that's only me.
  13. I think FunkySi assumed you had stock wheels (like the ones in my sig), in which case the UK versions use wider rear wheels than front (as in my sig), as opposed to the Jap ones which are the same all round. So as you don't have stock wheels the comment about UK rears was irrelevant!
  14. ah ha, these ones: Don't think UK rears would match the fronts very well :wack:
  15. what wheels have you got?
  16. Mine was like that when I first got it - the rear end would kind of wobble around sideways when you went over a bump or undulation. It was both of the HICAS arms whose joints were worn apparently, so I had them replaced. It was a lot better after that, although it's still abit vague to be honest, but I think that's down to it being a 16 year old car. I'm going to look into trying to tighten the ride up when I've got a bit more cash!
  17. I'd be dubious buying from anyone with that level of English!
  18. I think your current wheels look a lot nicer. I think the Zed needs bold looking wheels to match the bold, unfussy shape of the car, i.e. not too many spokes. I'm not really a fan of that 'criss cross' spoked style on a Zed (sorry Si).
  19. 300zxy, assuming that's your car in the pics, it really does look stunning! What wheels are they you've got?
  20. It's over 30, and there is no upper limit. Not cancelled, overridden. When you take your foot back off the accelorater it will go back to the 'set' speed. Is useful on the motor way when you've set it to 70, and you come up behind someone doing 69.5, you can give it a quick blast just to get past and then let it fall back to 70.
  21. I don't think that's true! Mine certainly doesn't.
