  1. Hi Andy A good program that I use fairly regularly is Web Position Gold. I cant remember how much it costs but I am reasonably sure that they do a trial version. Just do a search on google and you will find the website. Alternatively if you are really serious about being found you could venture into the Pay Per Click engines such as Overture. I have used Overture in the past and it does work. If you are sensible with what you bid per keywords used you will get results from this. Hope this helps. Chris
  2. webmonkey's a manual
  3. This guy I am sure nearly got into the darwin awards last year ... http://www.darwinawards.com/

  7. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you do anything with the ECU. Once you have got the wood away you will see the ECU. It is held in place by a metal bracket by 3 bolts 10mm if I remember correctly. Undo these bolts and you should be able to move the ECU slightly. You can then disconnect the wiring harness from the box (think this is a 10mm bolt) Be careful when disconnecting the wiring harness, take your time. Once you have undone the wiring harness bolt you can disconnect it from the ECU and you can remove it from the car. Dead easy job .... Then it is just a question of looking within the ECU housing to see if it has been socketed or not. HTH Chris
  8. I've got a daily driver but depending on how bad the snow was I would probably walk to work as I only live about 1 mile away
  9. According to the buyers guide some of the early 90's Zeds were prone to cylinder head and valve problems and also if it is an auto then the gearbox might be prone to have overheating problems ... particularly if they are high mileage. HTH Have a look at the buyers guide under the FAQ link. Chris
  10. That is awesome .. I love it. Looks fantastic.
  11. I am still happy to help .... Can't think of anything else right now though ... My brain has gone into shutdown mode ... been one of those days!

  13. guess you will have to give them a ring Tim .. You could try putting this code into a HTML file and uploading it to the server. If it works then at least you know that PHP is enabled ... Example echo "Hi, I'm a PHP script!"; ?> HTH Chris
  14. I am going along with Dave on that ... That is what you would get if php wasn't installed ....
  15. I've had lots of stuff shipped from the states and all I did was to tell them to put a sicker on the parcel to say that it was a gift. I didn't pay any extra ..
  16. I am not sure what my car can push out but I voted for between 350 - 400. Really want to get on the RR so I can get a good figure. My engine is in good shape as I have had a compression test done and a leak down test. I have blitz sus induction, JWT chip, boost controller currently running at 14psi and aftermarket zorst but that's about all the power mods I have made. Since fitting my new clutch from Smithy she drives like a new car .. When I removed my old clutch it was still ok, it wasn't particularly on the way out as such, it just couldn't handle the power. So not sure .... gotta be round about 350+ though I guess. If anyone has a better idea .. let me know!! Chris
  17. I have had one for fookin ages .. sure it must be nearly a year now. Brilliant bit of kit. Even better when you can download files at work :D I used to have a creative jukebox which sounded fantastic and could be easily connected to my amp at home but I believe they have brought out another player based on the ipod look. Make sure you get one that can hold a lot of files though ... I only bought a 10 gig one and regreted it. chris
  18. I am well up for this as well .... count me in ... I have a Jap spec TT Vijay, can you email me some pics as well please ... chris
  19. Mine is running well .... specially after fitting the new clutch (cheers Smithy) Probably garage it up for the winter months though

  21. This is an old one ... made me laugh Driving to the office this morning on the Motorway, I looked over to my left and there was a woman in a Ford Mondeo doing 65 mph with her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner. I looked away for a couple seconds and when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that makeup. As a man, I don't scare easily. But she scared me so much; I dropped my electric shaver, which knocked the chocolate bar out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying to straighten out the car using my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked my mobile phone away from my ear which fell into the coffee between my legs, splashed, and scalded the dog and cat, ruined the damn mobile, soaked my trousers, and disconnected an important call. damn women drivers!!
  22. On a hot day whilst having been in the car for quite a long journey I had the good idea to take my jumper off  I made sure that there was no oncoming traffic and it was a straight stretch of road Luckily my monkeylady was there to take the wheel when it got stuck over my head. Won't be trying that again ... That's simians for ya :slap:
  23. Put me down for this as well please anita ....
