Not sure if this will help or not. The mechanic I use is excellent .. very good and knows his Zeds backwards. I know he does engine rebuilds etc He may be able to help you. Can anyone help us out with the size of the upper radiator hose. I need to buy a Greddy adaptor for a gauge sensor and I haven't got a clue which size to get it in mm. Cheers Chris

Good idea Dave .. I did mine Monday Lunchtime without too much hassle however I am no auto electrician and relied on lots of information from here. Especially when the bloody brake warning light kept coming on when I pressed the pedal. That was an easy fix, just needed to know the right wire to cut. Works well now though ...

Chris is correct ... I have a Blitz Sus induction and it isn't too bad ... however the filtration isn't brilliant .. the best on the market are defo Apexi .. without a doubt ...

I have been watching this thread with some interest as I do believe in the paranormal from first hand experience. My experience happened when I was a young monkey (about 19 - 20 years old) I was working as a security guard at the time and was guarding (if that is the right word) a very old manor hose near Tunbridge Wells. I had been doing the job for about 3 months when the first incident occoured. Being a rather reliable guard I was sitting in one of the rooms that I shouldn't be in trying to get my head down for a couple of hours in order to pass the time when suddenly there was a crash that woke me .... I didn't realise what it was at the time of awakening however I was then quite alert. I sat up for about a minute and I saw the ashtray on the table fly into the corner of the room which gave me quite a start. I was shocked, startled and frightened and I moved into a different part of the house as I was all alone and decided to go outside and get some air ... The house itself was very old, it used to be lunatic asylum although I didn't find this out until much later on. When I used to patrol the house I would notice a massive change in temperature whilst moving through the building and in certain areas the hackles came up om my neck and I had the feeling that something was there. I just carried on with whatever duties I had to do. The worst thing happened when I was on duty when I actually saw a lady hanging from the railing of a staircase ... that was scary ... I later found out that it was the lady in charge of the wards ... She committed suicide. I soon asked for another assignment ... Chris

I'm not knocking Zymol in any way at all .. TBH I have never used it so I can't comment on how good it really is. I have always used Autoglym products ... I may give it a go sometime though .....

go and see as many cars as you can mate .... I saw about 12 different Zeds before I bought mine and the more I viewed the more I learnt about what to look for in a good Z ... Don't rush into anything TBH .. I would have walked away from the one you described ... There are plenty out there.

Being constructive ... The Zed Logo in Chrome effect on Black, smaller size, maybe as a label on the T shirt sleeve, or sewn direct would look very good. Even I would wear it .... Then again I am a fussy git :rofl: :rofl: Seriously though that would work best. Black Cap .. Chromed or brushed chrome logo .. would look great ... I did make up a Chrome logo however must have deleted it sometime last year .... Looked really nice on black .... Chris

As far as I am aware the needle should be near the far left of the gauge on idle not the right!! The guage shows -7 and +7 because you have an import

If you click on the name above tha avatar you will see a layer appear that shows private messages function .. not very intuitive but it is there.
