  2. Missed out on this which I was gutted about .... How did everything go? Heard Paul had a bad one .... Someone let us know Cheers
  3. Thanks Everyone ... Much appreciated..... Chris
  4. It could also be something draining the battery ..... search the posts on the forum .. I saw a good way to check the battery with a multimeter and hunting down what could be draining it ... just can't remember at the mo ...
  5. Same problem as me mate .... You need a new battery .... High cca over 550 That should solve your click click click relay madness .... HTP chris
  6. Thanks Vijay I have heard that the Bosh silver fit ok but was just wondering if I could get one from Harrys or ATS or summat ... bit nearer to me than Costco ... Just thought someone on here must have bought one for their jap spec and could remember the make. Chris
  7. OK .. I have done a search but have failed miserably to get the right information I need. My battery is FUBAR and I need to get a new one. I have a jap spec (terminals round the other way) and I know I need one above a 500 cca. My question is what make battery and where to get it? Thanks Chris
  8. I'm going to have to pull out which is completely gutting as I wanted to meet you all and was really looking forward to the RR.   Sorry for the late notice but at least Mike gets a chance on the RR. Chris
  9. Just thought I would say that the above is a quick and easy method. There are more involved ways and more time consuming ways .. Thought you would wan't the easiest mate ... cheers Chris
  10. well mate ... If you wan't to be a complete chancer you could try selecting the approprite area then fill them with your chosen colour ... doubt if you would have much success with this method though Best way would be to do the following: Open the ol image Menu > Image > adjust > replace colour select the image radio button select the + droppper tool select the Hue, and other attributes you want from the sliding scale Click on areas of the car and the car will change to the appropriate hue settings you selected NOTE Probably better to isolate the car from the rest of the image as any duplicated colours will change in the images as a whole .. not just the car but you get the idea. HTH Chris

I am sure it said something about damaging some projectors mate .... will have a look tonight for you if you wan't
  14. I am not sure either TBH There are a lot of people on here that have an extensive amount of knowledge and I am sure they could help you better. Maybe your ignition timing is too far advanced?

Sounds cool .... There is one thing I do remember but I am sure someone with more knowledge on the subject will correct me. I seem to remember reading that the X box can damage some projectors so I would suggest you check that it is going to be cool with your projector mate.

The DVD playback on the PS2 is ok but the remote contol you can get for it is rubbish IMO I haven't tried the X box dvd playback yet so I can't comment on that but the controllers are great .. I love the two triggers instead of the buttons of the PS2 controller and it is defo more comfortable to hold. There are also a wide range of games now .. I got Halo and Midtown madness 3 with mine for about £130.00 .. Halo is fantastic .. and I can't wait for Halo 2 which is coming out soon. If you are a big fan of GTA and Vice City I would think these games would be much better on the X box as well rather then the PS2

I've just bought an X box as well as already owning a PS2. I am really impressed with the graphics and the fact that you don't have to bugger about with a memory card. Unfortunately I need to get an upgraded scart lead so I can run it throgh the amp for digital sound but that should be good when I get around to it. Amazon are doing some good deals on the x box at the mo
  18. What does the rattling sound like? .. does it sound like stones being shaken in a tin box? Do you have a boost controller? If you are running high boost with the contoller then even if detting is detected via the knock sensor I don't think that the car will go into safety boost as it would be overidden by the boost controller. You could try turning the boost controller off completely and driving the car as per stock boost to see if it then goes into safety boost. I guess it could be detonation but I guess it could be quite a few things.
  19. I have been thinking of getting this one .... I am still not sure the best place to mount the mic though .. seems good value http://www.dpmotorsport.com/parts/knocklink/home.htm
  20. I think Smithy charges around £345 but as you are a member you will get a discount I got a new pivot ball with mine as well ... Fitting depends .... My Zed specialist quoted me £300.00 to fit it  Needless to say I didn't take him up on that offer... LMAO But to be honest any good garage could fit it and would probably charge between £100 - £150 .. I think I paid £100 cash ;) Chris
  21. I have a RPS street clutch as well ... running 14psi ... No problems at all ... When I had the new clutch fitted the stock clutch wasn't too bad at all .. just couldn't handle the boost and slipped a lot. Since the new one (available from Smithy see Traders section) I have had no problems at all .... HTH Chris
  22. Sorry for the late reply guys ... Matty, if you could take some photos for me that would be much appreciated. I am still in the process of ordering the hose and some other bits from Paul so there is no rush in taking the photos. When you have the time mate. Thanks again everyone. Chris
  23. I agree with Chris ... don't use google ... Overture are good .. I still use them myself and you can manage your account very well online ... You can put restrictions on the amount you spend as well just in case you do get a lot of traffic but no many closing sales. HTH
  24. LMAO .. That is quality Nice 1
  25. Has anyone replaced most of their vacum hoses. Does anyone have a good picture of where they all are? I know I could search about like some sort of chimp in the engine bay but having something to work with would be useful. Cheers Chris
