Toyota Supra twin turbo
Ok when the heck did the prices on Supra`s accelerate so fast and far above zeds?? really surprised to see some actually changing hands upwards of £18k not just for sale actually selling??? one on now at £25k !! I get it they always seemed to sell for more, and not taking anything from them, great car, and very easily tuned, but still the early one`s are like 25 years old now, thoughts?? Jeff 1993 £17k

New import
No Gaz not me buddy, yeh rear plastics need replacing to make good in the boot, think the price is a bit tops but not overall bad, that said there is another new import on e-bay for quite a bit less. So difficult to judge prices on these cars, I see some of the traders still think £15k is acceptable for a 30 year old Nissan, just makes them look foolish or greedy. Jeff

Oh seen this sooo many times, ok usually the issue is caused by previous attempts to undo with the m6 hex tool not deep enough into the head of the bolt and the bolts are a little soft, now as this damaged the tip section, you need to ensure it is clear of any grime / dirt /oil, then actually hammer the hex tool in, this will make it go further down and grab more undamaged metal and the tapping helps to crack the bolt. Be patient, the better grip you get down the bolt the better the chance of it coming undone, when your ready take it easy and make a slow undo motion, if it feels ok carry on if not hammer it in again. It sounds a bit harsh but I have never failed to release one if these bolts using this method. Good luck Jeff- Travesty of the scrappage scheme ...
The video below is a heart breaker to any petrol head, why the government thought this was a good idea is anyones guess, but years after the scrappage scheme ended now the storage costs of the cars must of out weighed the benefit to the new car sales. and yes some 300zx in there too !!- 300ZX or Supra Turbo?
Arghhh!!!- 300ZX or Supra Turbo?
Comparing the 300zx with a 1998 supra is a mismatch, as good as that version of the supra is, the direct comparison is a 1993 on twin turbo model, and they are way more expensive than a 300zx, well in the UK they are.- Got to Love Man Maths

Change it! your not married, no kids, no ties, a good job, jeez feller a few here would like to be in your position, go get the best you can afford be it an Aston a Ferrari or what ever, this life is not a rehearsal, this is it, once its gone, IT`S GONE enjoy your personal freedom, for me a 1 year old DB11 would just sit nice at the moment.... (hint) Change it ( see above ) Yes it is. ( see above ) Jeff- Radiator for Manual NA is it the same as Manual TT Radiator
No need to remove left hand cover cam covers, the right hand one would help a lot, but not really needed and saves messing with PTU etc. Assuming it is the inlet hoses that have the problem, remove radiator cowl or rad if you wish but again not required. Remove water pipes to alloy pipes, unclip wiring loom, remove fan blade ( just the blade ( 4 x 10 mm bolts). Now you have a good view access to look at the rubber pipes, if split then you need a long hex drive 5.5 mm maybe 6mm ( from memory )and a 12 mm socket on an extension to undo the fixings for the alloy pipes the lower one first to give more access to the pipe clips, release the hose clips with long nose pliar`s and pull the alloy pipes out. Now the remainder clips can be removed and the two water pipes cut off as they tend to stick onto the steel outlet pipes from the block. Clean and fit new rubber pipes (with a smear of silicon sealant ) , fit rear clips in the correct position and fit the front clips with the tabs facing down but push them back, refit the cleaned alloy pipes ( with a smear of silicon sealant ) and do up all of the fixings, NOW pull the front clips into position. and assemble everything in reverse order. When refilling the system always have to heater on max heat and the fan on at least low speed and econ activated, this just opens the matrix valves to aid air bleed, add the max amount and wait till it drops, once you can not get any more in start the engine and allow to warm, adding as required. The rubber hoses are quiet expensive from Nissan so it is easier to buy a one meter length of 30mm pipe from your local factors and just cut to length, exactly the same thing.... just cheaper. Pics from a belt service I did some time back in the workshop, they should give you a little insight in to what to expect, of course these are for cambelt and pump change so a lot more stripped out than you would need to. If is that bad I would say one of the by pass hoses has burst open, they look like a sausage that burst in the pan when they go. Jeff- Radiator for Manual NA is it the same as Manual TT Radiator
