  1. And nothing better than a great big pair of firm ones :)
  2. I came across this tonight. Its the history of the Z Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=filjihe00Go Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U4tfDL6ZXM&feature=related Part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL_BFqiJujI&feature=related Part 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piCuoqHfYEQ&feature=related Part 5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGA9xTU8GQU&feature=related The Z32 is reviewed in Part 5 above. I did a search to see if the links were posted already, but I couldn't. If its a repost, apologies.
  3. Well, its amazing how many men on here, prefer a tight ass to a rack! I wonder are they telling us something.... ????
  4. I agree 100%. I replaced all the worn parts in the hicas set up and it turned it from a system that I didn't feel good about, a system which I felt I couldn't trust when cornering even at low speeds, to something which I think is absolutely brilliant. As I said in the poll, I love it now. It is working the way it was designed to do and feels tight.
  5. When I bought the car, the hicas system was worn and gave an awful feeling, but I refreshed the joints etc and it is superb now. I love it. Isn't the hicas parts known as the hicas rack or am I mistaken? If I'm right, we have to chose between the tight ass and the rack. I myself was always a rack man :D
  6. Yeah as Stellaz said, try topping up. Do so when you lock the steering to the left and right. As a previous said, there may be air in the system
  7. I bet the dog gets away with more than you do. Bloody typical with women. All seriousness though, your misses is going to have to toe the line with him, and make sure that he is number three in the pecking order. He must not get away with any misbehaving. Big dogs need firm (not cruel) handling hence the reason, what some of the bigger dominant breeds can get bad names e.g. Rottweilers, German Shepards etc
  8. Are you sure that your levels are fine? It sounds like low fluid levels to me from a possible leak or the pump actually giving problems.
  9. I sympathise with your sister and I don't know whether or not you can be issued with a warning in the UK when the incident took place on private property, but unfortunately the onus is on the property holder to provide a duty of care to anybody entering their property be they invited in or tresspassing.
  10. Did you not see the mauling Leinster gave them. Leinster absolutely annihilated them in almost every position on the field. True but why limit what the lad can achieve
  11. As the title says, a book that may be of interest. Nothing to do with me, just spotted it earlier. http://cgi.ebay.ie/great-book-on-NISSAN-300ZX-mint_W0QQitemZ370199305879QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Books_NonFictionBooks_NonFictionBooks_SM?hash=item370199305879&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A2|294%3A50
  12. My god Gary, he is a big lad for 8. What are you feeding him? Will you transfer him to Munster or Leinster when he is older ? :D
  13. I have to say that I did have a thing about a Lotus Esprit Turbo SE back in the late 80's. In fact one was reviewed in the Supercar magazine. The stripes are painted on which means a bit of work and a respray. But believe it or not, one week, three people saw the car and everyone said that they loved the white stripes. I think they were being genuine, cause I asked one if he was being smart or taking the p1ss. He nearly died and was swearing that he was being genuine.
  14. In 1991 I was finishing my second year in college and looking to get a job and work and study for the remaining two years of the accountancy exams. I was facing into looking for a job which due to the training and experience aspect of my qualification I could expect to earn between £100 and £200 per week. Like every young person, I had my dreams of how my life should be and how I'd do everything to succeed. But way back then even though I would have said, "some day........" after reading the article and dreamed about owning one, truthfully I probably never thought I'd get one. But that was then and this is now. Now I'm wondering how I can keep the 3 vehicles since I'm out of work and just attended a creditors meeting of a voluntary liquidation last Friday, facing a write off of €76703 (includes VAT) of a bill owing to me. Six months work to be wrote off. I think I'd let the most practical car of the three go if it comes to it - the 530d. It would rip a piece of me out, if I have to let the Zed go. I haven't drove it much, as I spent a bit of time last summer getting it back up to scratch, replacing wear and tear parts. The only really negative about it is the white stripes and I just don't have the cash right now to remove them. In fact they are a little embarrassing - gives it a boy racer type of look in my opinion. Oh enough about the negative stuff! Its mine, I love it and just shows you always need a dream for a dream to come true.
  15. Thats the one Gary. Cheers. Going to buy it now. Thanks again. That was the magazine that started the love affair all those years ago.
  16. Hi All, I first fell in love with the 300zx when I saw it in an issue of the "Supercar" magazine that was issued in either 1989 or 1990. I used to collect them at the time. I remember thinking how beautiful the lines on the car were, and indeed still are. Timeless beauty IMHO. I was back at my parents a few months ago and went searching in the attic for the old issue but unfortunately couldn't find it or any of the other issues. It must have been dumped after I first moved out first in '93. My question is does anybody have the issue that I am referring to and if they do, is there any chance of getting the article and spread about it photocopied in colour. Of course I would cover the expense of doing so. Better again, sell me the issue (I expect the latter is a longshot given the fact that this is an enthusiasts club) :) Cheers, Colm
  17. Fair Play to IndianZX. He got the sh1t absolutely ripped out of him, but is still around I see. A sign of a man and not a boy, but then again the thread started a few years ago ;)
  18. I saw that light myself for the first time when starting the car for the first time in nearly two months. It only came on when I was turning the ignition along with the other lights, but never had come on previously. Went off as soon as the car started (like the other lights). Should I worry?
  19. happy birthday
  20. I was certain Funkysi won it. Don't know how I got that one wrong. I have to say I'm one of the man's disciples when it comes to the perfect stance of a zed
  21. What - did he not win? Are you having me on?
  22. Who can argue with the creator of the 300zx.co.uk clubs 2008 Car of the Year :D
  23. Yep but what harm The lights aren't the worst to be fair, but there are so many things I want to do with the car..: respray to remove the viper strips new wheels and tyres with the correct offset for the "perfect" stance Sound proofing Installation of a carputer with quality ICE (I have a really good sound system) Custome HKS Hi-power silent exhaust (twice) want two back boxes 99 spec rear lights and that is only the start The only problem to getting it done, is LACK OF CASH Everybodys problem I think
