  1. When working, the a/c in the ZX is fekking excellent. I have a v reg Rav-4 and w reg corsa both with a/c and the ZX deffo has the best of the three. In fact the a/c in the corsa was pretty crap Sunday in the 34 deg+ heat according to Julia (but then maybe women don't really know how to set it properly  ) whereas driving in the ZX at the same time I felt like I was sitting in a fridge  It took a few minutes to cool down though but the car was sitting in direct sunlight for 3 hours - I have thought it may need a regas by now but if it works like that I guess not..... Richard
  2. No - deffo around 1pm. The ZX I saw also had the stock front bumper mate so it wasn't you...... Richard
  3. 308GTB  They have the very car in "Cars of the Stars" museum in Keswick. Along with KITT, the A team's van and 2 bat-mobiles. That is an excellent place to visit - go there!! Richard  PS KITT still the best though :nono:
  4. I agree with this. Keep the fronts as the style is better suited to the ZX - those multi-spoke ones do nothing for it. IMO of course. Richard
  5. Nissan's road testers did back in 1990.... .....they lapped quicker than Posche's finest testers could manage in their 928GT   Richard
  6. Saw another grey ZX in Herts..... On the M25 heading clockwise between Potter's Bar and the A10 this afternoon around 1-1.30. It was a L reg, in the nearside lane in heavy-ish traffic. I was in the outside lane heading the other way in a red ZX. Richard
  7. Saw a grey ZX parked outside a pub (can't remember the name of it) in Chorleywood this morning on the A404 just before the M25 junction. Private reg - G8*** Anyone?
  8. I have a pic of my wife in my wallet - somewhere :D But the wallpaper on my mobile is my ZX  Richard :D
  9. They look dead good James - will suit a silver Z perfectly  Richard :smw:
  10. Very good stuff - make sure you still use antifreeze with it though or the water will eat the insides of your engine and heater matrix. Richard :smw:
  11. Plenty of stories about reduced speed limits - if the reduction is sensible fair enough but far too many seem pointless. On hols in Cornwall last week the entire length of the road between Camelford and Bodmin has been changed to 50mph from 60mph?? Why - it's a perfectly safe, normal rural b-road. Wide and quiet enough but with a few bends, the trouble now is those (old) fekkers who always drive at 10-15 below what ever the limit is now do 35 along it:mad: Plus the 30mph limit on the A39 either side of Camelford has been extended over a mile outside of the town boundaries despite there being no houses or kids to run over. It's so frustrating and unnecessary. Richard
  12. Any premium rate number in the UK cannot charge more than £1.50 per minute - I tried to set up one at work (2 weeks ago) to stop competitors plugging us for free advice on how to service our lifts. I wanted to charge £5 per minute for legitimate tech advice but BT and ICTSIS told me I could not charge over £1.50 per hour Richard
  13. I've the lotus one too - I actually had 2 last week but can't find where I (or Julia :wack: ) put the doubles...... Richard
  14. I'd been watching them for a couple of weeks, they put one up every 4 days or so with a £350 reserve. Loads of people bid way lower so I just wacked in a bid for the reserve near closing time and got lucky  But you're right, some went up to £400-ish  Richard :smw:
  15. I take it you don't kiss her after she's brushed her teeth then!!!! :wack: Richard :D
  16. I hope you take the washing up out first :D Richard :wack:
  17. BTW I voted for KITT  Although Bodie's Capri 3.0 and Doyle's RS2000 in the Professionals were pretty cool too (at the time) and then there was JB's Aston DB5 in Goldfinger   Richard :D
  18. I do - I use the Nissan ready-mixed stuff. Richard :D
  19. Ditto :D well pleased with mine - excellent quality/sound/performance for £350  Richard :smw:
  20. Spot on mate! Get this shite off the TV by not watching - hopefully it will be scrapped then along with all other reality TV  Richard :D
  21. So sorry to hear this Kenny :( I cannot find any other words either, but my thoughts go out to you and your children - be strong for them mate. Richard
  22. Standard UK wording is "NISSAN" on the left and "TWIN TURBO" on the right of the bit below the spoiler. 300ZX appears only on the centre light panel. I think J-spec standard is "FAIRLADY Z" in place of the Nissan badge. Anything else would have been stuck on by the owner. I simply have a chrome "Twin Turbo" badge in joined writing like the 911 Turbo style below the lip of the spoiler replacing the stock wording. Richard :smw:
  23. The UK spec has adjustable rear suspension, you just pull the handbrake up 1 notch to make it firmer. Richard :smw:
  24. Just got back from my hols in Cornwall in the ZX. We did around 1200 (very fast) miles last week without a hitch, although I spent a fortune on Shell's finest :D Plus on the way home today my ZX passed the 80K milestone, for what it's worth........ Just thought I'd share that Richard :smw: :wack:
