Esso app....
Wendover's filling station is a BP nowadays, Tony....? I work in Denham/Uxbridge now too - so have been using Esso; not just because there are two Esso garages next to my office, but it's generally cheaper than Shell/BP, plus Nectar switched their allegiance from BP some time ago.

Esso app....
Anyone use the Esso app to pay for their fuel....? I have been using it for some time now - and generally it's been pretty good. Until today that is - seems they have updated the app so it's only available to i-Phone users. What a disgrace ☹️ Sure the website still says it's available for both Android and i-Phone - but when you click to download the so-called latest version, it's i-Phone only. And the old version has stopped working...... Bad show Esso - especially as we're still in Covid-conscious times. I'd much rather pay safely online from my car, than go into the kiosk. Get it sorted Esso?

1995 Silver Series IV Slicktop Version S - Taking To Another Level
I really like the look and style of those Andy - great choice....!! I agree with your decision to keep the length just inside the bumper, I'm not a fan of the tailpipes protruding too far out either. That's the kind of thing I'd pick too....?

Desirability: 1999 - Version S vs. Version R
Personally, I'd prefer the higher-specced car. The 300zx is more a GT than a true sports car, so having more toys appeals to me more. As for future desirability, decent Z32s are getting more and more rare - hence good clean, fresh imports are commanding higher prices now - so any version kept in good condition will hold its value well, as a future classic.

What did you do to your zed today?
Today I did nothing to my Zed, as I wanted to enjoy the sunshine.... However yesterday I gave it a well deserved wash and wax - and naturally, I took some obligatory pictures?

Smaller Washer Bottle for UK Spec?
Nice work there Andrew - very tidy indeed!! My headlamp washers stopped working a while ago - I have a spare motor but thus far never got around to fitting it. It's never been a problem at MOT time though, I read somewhere only cars first used after 2009 need their headlight washers functioning, if fitted. Still, now the weather has improved, I might just do it - I hate having something fitted, that does not work.....?

E10 fuel
Me neither - and this could be the saving grace.... I mean, let's go back to basics. You decide to take a holiday in the UK using your car - you decide to head south-west in the summer (why not). It's a 300 mile trip and you have an electric car with a range of 300 miles at best. It's hot, so you have your AC on to keep cool - you have a family, so they want to use their i-Pads etc to watch movies, thus need to charge them. You have your mobile plugged in to keep that charged, just in case. You decide you want to make the most of your vacation, rather than waste it on the journey, so you drive a little faster.... ...Suddenly that alleged 300 mile range has dropped to 200. You therefore have to stop for a recharge - which takes an hour at least. You roll up to the service station and there's already a line in front of you for the charge points. Make that three hours wasted. Hell, if only someone would invent a car, which you could drive fast for a few hundred miles and then refuel in 5 minutes, before resuming your journey. A car which you could use in the hottest summer with the AC on full and not suffer from range anxiety...... Wait a moment, what do we have already....?

E10 fuel
Synthetic fuels....? I was reading an article in CAR magazine yesterday about Porsche endorsing synthetic fuels. I found this on the 'web just now - it could be the solution we're looking for in a few years! Will Synthetic Fuels Save Petrol Cars? - YouTube

What did you do to your zed today?
Bad show from Japspeed Gary - but at least you found a replacement for a reasonable price. I bought a Mishimoto one a couple of years back, I can't remember the price, but it's a nice quality item. Having an auto, I had to fit a separate transmission oil cooler, but that was easy enough for my local mechanic.....!

What did you do to your zed today?
Yesterday, I took my Zed out on the ritual Sainsbury's run first thing - then filled it with Esso's finest and took the scenic route home. I really should have given it a wash, but it's mainly just dusty, so will leave it until next weekend. I did, however, give the interior a hoover and wipe-down - along with some Gliptone leather treatment. I also fitted my new tailored floor mats - I'll post a few pics in a separate thread - but I went for these: Nissan 300ZX 1990-2000 Car Mats - In Stock - £19.99 "Executive" spec, in graphite grey with dark blue nubuck trim. They match the interior perfectly; the graphite grey is close enough to the the OEM carpets and other trim - and the dark blue nubuck is just the right complement to the series 2 alcantara..... And I have a spare set if anyone is interested. Brand new - say £40 posted? A saving of £23 on buying them from the supplier?

Wikipedia - 1994 / Seat belts redesigned
If your avatar picture is your own Zed, then it looks like a UK-spec to me. Black tinted corner lights (blanks) and headlight washers give it away! And yes, all UK-spec cars have seat-belts on the B-pillar, not the doors, whatever the year.

Z32 Specialist in SE England
Yup - welcome indeed Zach..... ....And just as Gary says, don't waste your money on the cheap Chinese copies - I'd buy a known working 2nd hand OEM one over a pattern copy! If you need specialist ZX-help, you can't go wrong with Jimmer in Bristol - he's the go-to Z mechanic, not just in the UK, but Europe too.

Anyone selling 99 spec rear lights?
Yup - what Lexx said.... ....So few available second hand; and when they are, you can't always guarantee they will cost much less than new.
