looking for job advice
Yup; I agree with all the above. Take the job - you'll get a regular salary and all the benefits and security of employment (like paid holidays). You can still look for something better too, but whilst in paid employment the pressure is off you. Good luck, whatever you decide mate! Richard:smw:

What a stupid lil' pip-squeek
Yes, that should be true in a decent society......... .........but Steve's also right. That kid's story is a reminder of how broken and degenerated British society has become in the last 10 or so years:nelson: Richard

Crest Cars - Anyone know the Z's?
If you want someone with some Z-experience to meet you there, I can make myself available sometime Saturday morning. As said above, I'm only a few miles from High Wycombe. Richard:)

Crest Cars - Anyone know the Z's?
Some good advice from a previous owner.......... ..........plus it also proves that the dealer's claim of "last owner (for) 12 years" is crap!! I may wander down over the weekend just for a peek as I only live 5 miles from High Wycombe;) Richard:cool:

A bit of GREAT news for a change.
Congratulations mate:dance: I might have to think about bringing my daily drive to you; Obsidian Black does tend to show marks easily and I reckon that the MB dealers washed the back of it with a brillo pad the other week judging by the marks left on the boot:( Richard;)

Whats the best/your favourite colour for a Z32...

Prices rising for the Zed?
That car looks familiar - I'm sure it belonged to a member on here once. I remember seeing it (or one just like it) at a mini meet at The Kings Head in Prestwood 3 years ago........ Richard

New battery suggestions
No I don't think so; I forget the make - I think it's gathering dust somewhere in the garage or loft. I moved house 3 years ago and my new garage does not have power so it got "put away" and you can guess the rest.......:nelson: Richard:wack:

New battery suggestions
Yup; I agree with Steve. Plus when my ZX is locked in my garage I do not set the alarm. Any aftermarket Cat-1 system must automatically immobilize the car independently of the alarm being set anyway. I just lock the car using the key and leave the immobilizer to do its stuff - that way the alarm system does not drain the battery either. Richard:cool:

Insurance
If it won't pass an MOT then surely it's worthless? I'd take that point up with your insurance company; or if they still insist on repairing it get the same garage to MOT the car then sell it. Richard:)

Anyone gone out in the fresh snow yet?
Yup, We've had fresh snow every morning this week except Wednesday and I've been out in it........ ......not in my Z or SLK though; I actually wanted to get to work without sliding or drifting so I took Julia's Rav-4. My normal journey is 12 simple miles; however the girl I work with won't drive in the snow so the last 2 days i've driven 20 miles in the opposite direction to collect her, then back past my house for the usual 12 mile commute. I left home just after 7 this morning and arrived in Aylesbury 3 hours later. Still I quite like driving in the snow..... Richard:cool:

should gays adopt?????
My opinion on Stella's question...... .....no I do not believe that homosexual couples should be allowed to adopt. In many cases children are offered (perhaps not the best choice of words) for adoption following the intervention of Social Services after they have suffered a dysfunctional life already. Said children must therefore have as normal a family upbringing as possible following their previous traumas; which can (IMO) only be provided by a loving mother and father. I do appreciate that there may be many gay couples who could offer a stable home to a child. But most homosexuals probably would have resigned themselves to the fact they would never have children long ago. As for the case that promted Stella's question; it's disgusting that the grandparents were not allowed to adopt or at the very least permanently foster the poor kids. Even worse that because they are opposed to gay adoption Social Services threaten them with never seeing their grandchildren again. Richard

Jag XJ220 successor....
I love the XJ220 as well and agree that the new car probably isn't as good looking. A bit like comparing the Z32 with the Z33:p You know, only a week earlier, Auto Express thought the new Jag was going to be like this...... http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/233541/jaguar-supercar.html Richard:cool:
