High Beam or just dipped?
Clean the lenses and/or get the lights professionally adjusted at an MOT station. It will make all the difference you need mate! In fact when I replaced my left headlight with a brand new one following an accident, I cleaned the right one and that made one hell of a difference before I fitted HIDs! Richard:)

Steering racks
Now I could be wrong here, but...... .......as the HICAS only operates on the rear wheels, the front steering rack is the same for HICAS as it is for non-HICAS equipped Z32s. There are sensors in the steering wheel hub on HICAS equipped cars that have some bearing on how the HICAS operates. Richard:)

GT Four or 300zx
I've never owned a GT4 but I did get one as a courtesy car for a few days back in 1995 when my (then) Carina E GTi was at Toyota for a service and cam-belt change..... ....I loved it back then; and it was almost brand new with less than 5k miles. But would I have one over a 300zx? No! So I will agree with Fastorquer! Richard:)

real or fake???
That's right - no tilt steering wheel and as far as I know there were no UK spec cars with airbags. Although it's possible that the odd "last of the line" models may have had one. As for the catalytic convertors - all Z32s came with them from the factory even though the law in the UK did not change until 1/8/93. It was not uncommon for top line sports cars from the late 80s or early 90s to have cats; I believe all Jags (no pun on "cats";)) had them fitted from as early as 1988........ Richard:cool:

How free-flowing are the Zs airbox inlet tracts and the airbox itself
£62.50 - wow! You cannot go wrong with that Si - replace your air box with one of those! Richard:cool:

How can i make le Zed un-redded...?
I have to agree with Si.....and not just for the obvoius reason;) I have never been a fan of red cars in general......... ......however when I saw my ZX before I bought one I actually liked the look of the Z32 in red. It was, after all, the designer's choice of colour!! If you really want a change then I reckon it's best to sell up and buy another rather than throw cash at a respray. Just my humble opinion though, mate. Richard:cool:

real or fake???
Sure does mate. It also has the "washer" button on the headlamp switch; which only the UK spec cars have....................... But why oh why, when I see a spotless low mileage UK spec manual, does it always have the cloth interior:headvswal Richard:cool:

What a Different HID's are...
Exactly! Fitting aftermarket HIDs inside a projector beam type headlight has little or no effect on the beam pattern; it will however produce a superior level of light. So providing you have them properly adjusted you will have no problems with a 300zx at MOT time. I have had mine in situ for 3-4 years now. I've been through that may MOTs, not always at the same garage, and it's never been mentioned! Richard:)

Fuel leak......
Hi all, I have noticed a petrol smell in my garage the last couple of days. I took the Z out this morning and saw a very small patch on the garage floor which would have been under the rear of the car. I'd say it was level with the rear wheels, slightly off centre to the right of the car (the opposite side to the fuel filler;)) It does not appear to be losing fuel in any noticable quantity...... Any ideas where it may be coming from? Thanks, Richard:cool:

Bit of bad news...
Yup - what he said........:( The 300zx was not sold in sufficient quantities in the UK for Nissan to acknowledge the problem..... Buying a used series one PTU is a false economy; that will fail as well. You're better off buying a new series 2 item. Mine went excatly the same way as yours by the sound of it; just after I bought the car. I ordered a new one from Courtesy Nissan in the USA and it's never hppened again! Richard:)

11th of the 11th means very little...
So right Dave......... Bring back national service for these scrotes; a couple of years in a British Army uniform being shot at on the Front Line will teach them a thing or two. And if the same yobbish scum happen to get killed in action then it's not really a big loss to society is it.....? Richard

The green zed - Carbon Neutral driving
Personally...... .....I couldn't give a shite about my carbon footprint:tongue: 3 litre twin turbo Z and a 3.5 litre V6 daily driver.....plus a 4x4 in case it gets snowy in the Chilterns............... Up your arse Gordon Brown; my fuel and road taxes give your government enough money to waste:rolleyes: Just my humble opinion, mate;) Richard:mad:
