  1. Welcome to the club Chris - and that looks a nice example you have there! Richard:cool3:
  2. I couldn't agree more.......:whistling: Welcome to the club mate and good luck with getting your car sorted! Richard:cool3:
  3. That's terrible Allan...... .....have these people no shame!!! Richard:winkiss::cool3:
  4. Great Jump Daz........:scared: LOL - very funny Allan!! You know you should drink more often if you come out with jokes like that mate..........:whistling::winkiss: Richard:sorcerer:
  5. Sorry to hear that mate:oops: Granted a 4x4 is invaluable in this bad weather; and my ZX is also a weekend toy. I drive a nearly new Merc SLK350 daily and it's a great car - however when I do get back in the ZX, I realize just how good a car it is. It's a testament to Nissan getting it right all those years ago when a 16 year old Datsun can give more pleasure than one of Germany's finest new machinery!!! I hope you can get your ZX fixed - perhaps a trip to Zedworld is needed - and hopefully you can rekindle your love of the car. I reckon you can't beat the feeling of a properly functioning 300zx..... Richard:ph34r:
  6. Whatever the law is on this one (and Nick has a good point) you're best off just taking the refund mate. You're no worse off and TBH if he does begrudgingly sell you the item for £46, who's to say he won't damage it in some way just to drag the matter out or piss you off even more.... Richard:chef:
  7. Many happy returns Steve - have a great day old chap!! Richard:thumbup1:
  8. LOL - agreed!! On both counts......:gunsmilie: Richard:lol:
  9. Sounds spot on to me mate........:sorcerer: And as for the protesting; I have nothing against peaceful protest. It is everyone's democratic right in a free society - however there is no excuse for the protests to end in violence and mindless destruction of someone elses property. Fact. Anyone participating in or inciting such violent behaviour should and must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Whether in the case of the student protests referred to herein; or the more "radical" (you know what I mean) protests we have come to see in recent years. Allowing such wanton violence and destruction will not gain protesters the support of the masses (which they crave - or need - for their goals to be fulfilled) and may ultimately lead to anarchy. It's not the way of a civilized society. Richard:cool3:
  10. Many happy returns buddy! Hope you have a great day.... Richard:happybday:
  11. Looks a tidy example mate - welcome to the club!! Richard:cool3:
  12. Yes indeed - nice one Lee!! Richard:thumbup1:
  13. RichardS replied to ZX-TT's topic in Events - UK
Sounds a great idea Craig! Richard:cool3:
  14. LOL - exactly mate!! Soaps are all b0ll0x; and they're for girls..... Richard:whistling:
  15. LOL - was she fit?? Just think, that could be just like one of those dodgy 1970s movies my uncle used to get hold of back in the day....... Richard:cool3:
  16. I don't envy you guys working outside in this weather - but good on you I say! Most young whipper-snappers don't know what a proper day's work is nowadays. Ever since it became illegal to send kids up chimneys.....:whistling: Nice one Bri - how easy would it be for the mean fookers to bring you and your men out a nice hot brew once in a while? Richard:santa:
  17. Hi Chris, my advice - either stock 89-spec or 99-spec. I'm not too keen on the spoiler-less look for a LWB; it seems unfinished to me somehow.... If you want the perspex strip (or any other OEM Nissan part) give Mike at MJP a call. He's usually cheaper than Z-Centre and he's a top fella! Plus he's one of our traders. Richard:cool3:
  18. LOL cheers Bri - it's my "usual" spot in that car park..... ......I always try and get an end space; and then park just over the outside edge. Otherwise I just know that some twonk in a people carrier will park next to me and their rancid offspring will fling their door open into my car:angry: Richard:thumbup1:
  19. I like the city of Bath any time of year, but this week they have a Christmas market so we decided to pay a visit. It was a nice crisp sunny morning after the fog lifted and what better than a ZX for a 100 mile drive each way. I love the M4 when it's empty and cold; especially if there are 3 litres and 2 turbos at my disposal.....:whistling: We had a good day out, soaked up the Christmas atmosphere and enjoyed lunch in The Pump Room. Followed by a good drive home.... Here's a couple of pics from my phone! Richard:cool3:
  20. No! Mine's not a daily drive anyway. But since I have to go up a long steep hill whatever way I want to get home, if the roads are snowed over then most cars without 4 wheel drive are buggered!! Last winter the hills surrounding Missenden and Pretwood were strewn with abandoned cars that couldn't get up them...... ZX and SLK stay at home in the snow and I just go out in Julia's Rav-4. Better safe than sorry. Richard:biggrin:
  21. I'm a Listerine user as well - although these days I use the coolmint variety. Richard:cool2:
  22. Very good Bri...... You had me going there as well mate!! Richard:cool2:
  23. LOL - and it's goodnight from him......:smartass: Richard:death::whistling:
  24. Me too - that's just awesome!! Nice soundtrack as well.... Richard:cool3:
  25. LOL - nice and subtle there Allan...... .....are you trying to say something about someone who has posted a lot in this thread? Well he can't any longer mate!!! Richard:tt2::devil::winkiss:
