never having had one , how do you guys launch an Auto
LOL.... ....I agree there Mike, there's no need for "launch" tactics; all I do if I want a fast get away is press the accelerator about half way to take off, then once moving I floor it! My SLK350 easily rockets to 60 in around 5 second like that if need be. Richard:laugh:

A little v6 powered cars reading for you all.
Good find there - and not a bad result for the 300zx!! No sign of the Mitsi 3000GT though.....

Ebay...
See what I mean.......:laugh::clap:

Ebay...
Brand new with tags I assume....? Yes mate; totally unworn; all tags and labels still attached. I bought them a year or two ago and they have been sitting in the drawer ever since - I'm a short-arse and would have had to get the legs taken up. I could not be bothered so I just bought some more jeans in "short" length!! Richard:laugh:
-
Ebay...
LOL - I have a pair of Ralph Lauren Polo jeans (straight cut) in 32 waist/regular leg and a pair of Versace Couture (slim cut) in 32 waist/regular leg....
-
Ebay...
I just buy from Ebay now as I cannot be bothered with all the retards that come out from under their stones whenever you try to sell anything.... .....Shame, as I have 2 pairs of unworn designer jeans I want rid of, sitting on the bed in my spare room, but I just cannot bring myself to face the hassle these morons will no doubt give me for the sake of a few pounds!! Leather trim kits
I believe the tailored kits from Zcentre can be done DIY if you're a bit handy..... They're not cheap though; so you might be better off going down the professional supply/fit route. We are in the process of taking on a new trader specialising in interior re-trims; when his details are finalised in the traders' sections, why not contact him to see what he can do for you! Christmas Dinner
Heh heh - have fun Gary!! Richard:clap:

E bay horns
I know what you mean about the standard horns Gary - IIRC they are the same as those on the Micra!!! I bought a single "Ring" horn from Halfords and bolted it straight on; cost me £15 I believe and it sounds much better..... The ones you found do look good value so go for it I'd say - failing that get a pair of horns from any Merc or Beemer at the local scrappy. Vauxhall also did a nice twin set on the top line Cavaliers and Vectras too - again they should be obtainable for peanuts from a breakers! Richard:thumbup1:

2013 Events List
Hi Mark, I'm sure there will be a fair few events that the club will be endorsing/supporting/attending in 2013....!! I think 2012 was one of our best years for events in a long time; although I must confess I haven't seen any diaries of upcoming events for 2013 yet. I'm sure Voddy is on the case though - as will the Zclub - so I can't see it being long before next year's calendar finds its way onto the forum.... Richard:thumbup1:

Might have a put a deposit down on a new car...!
Good luck with your new toy mate...... ....and there's nothing wrong with German machinery for a decent daily driver. Tough, reliable and (well, some of their machinery is) very fast too. Whilst my love of Japanese cars is centred on the 300zx, it does not extend to very much else from Japan nowadays TBH; The Supra stopped at the Mk3 for me; I would not buy a Skyline and, R35 GTR aside, modern Japanese cars are just dull "appliances." And I'll not even mention offerings from S****u or M********i.... So I'd certainly not call a BMW M5 a Eurobox.... 300zx and NSX aside, I'd have anything AMG/BMW M/Audi RS powered, over ALL modern offerings from the Far East without question..... Just my opinion though - we are all entitled to that...:clover: Richard:thumbup1:

the tree is up
LOL - and it hasn't affected you in later life matey!!! Still it does explain a couple of things, but it's good to know you're a perfectly balanced adult now..... Heh heh - go for it matey......:shifty: Richard:clap:

the tree is up
Not yet Allan; it's too early for me - maybe in a couple of weeks time though..... .....but like Gaz says, if it's for Charlie's benefit then it's not too early. My parents only put their tree up early when my sister and I were children because we wanted to - it was that or the constant "Can we have the tree up; can we have the tree up; can we have the tree up! and so on... Crash helmet
Agreed!!!! Richard:thumbup1:

Need insurance!
Sadly Stu is right - a DR endorsement stays on your licence for 10 years from date of conviction....... ....And as for recommendations, Footman James' prices have shot up this year. I asked them for a quote (Lynbrooks renewal came in at about £290) and FJ wanted over £400 for their classic policy this time round....!! I found a company called Lancaster - I have the same Equity Red Star classic policy I had with Lynbrooks; 5000 miles p/a and agreed value, breakdown cover etc - but they did it for £260 including the £15 valuation fee. Calliper colours
