Do alarm installers don't give a toss !
LOL at the grammar police. Who called you....:ban::tongue: But back on topic, I agree Lee; but I think it's a sad indictment to the fact that a lot of people just cannot be bothered to do their job properly nowadays mate:sad: Richard:no:

hids
Yup - HIDs in the main beam are pointless.... Although it is worth doing the "earth" modification so that the dipped stay on when you switch to mains... Agreed; those or Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs. Forget the so-called "HID tinted" or "blue" bulbs - they are crap.... The Philips or Osrams are whiter than normal bulbs, but still a bit yellow when compared to HIDs; however they have been proven in every test to give out a superior light pattern than all other halogen bulbs. And ABD (in Lexx's link) also sells the Osrams - so just buy whichever one is cheaper at the time. They are both as good as each other... Richard:cool:

LOL - maybe Si; why do you think we banned you mate....:shifty: Yup - it's been a pleasure. Almost...... Heh heh - Lee is onto the post whores nowadays Dave.... Hah! It would be Daz, but I'd have to go out and buy it myself first..... Nope - I knew what I meant Daz.... I was on my way out at the time.....:w00t: ......But you got me there; typing too quickly and being corrected by the forum spell-check, when it thought I meant something else. Still, 33 replies and no-one else noticed - gold star to you mate. On the upside, it wasn't Si who spotted it... Richard:biggrin:

The 300zx.co.uk 25th anniversary of the Z32 celebration event......
In addition to the main celebrations, I am also pleased to announce 2 unofficial events, not being run by the club, but nonetheless falling over the same weekend; which members attending the 25th celebrations might also wish to join in with..... Firstly on the night of Saturday 19th July, our very own joint REO for the NW region (Dicky96) has very kindly offered to host a BBQ at his house in Stoke on Trent!! (Top man - cheers Rich:thumbup:) So those wishing to continue the celebrations might head off in convoy from Coventry after 4.30 - I will leave Dicky96 to organise that separately as necessary...... And then on Sunday 20th July, there is the Beaumanor Hall Classic Car Show, Woodhouse, Leicestershire which attracts about 500 exhibitors; and has the Hall, Gardens and Craft Fair as well as the car show itself to enjoy..... http://www.transtarpromotions.com/beaumanor2013.html Again, I will leave Dicky96 to announce the separate arrangements for those folks wishing to attend that on the Sunday, in due course...... The 300zx.co.uk 25th anniversary of the Z32 celebration event......
2014 is the 25th anniversary of the Z32 - and we need to mark the occasion!!! SO without further ado the 300zx.co.uk club, its committee, moderators and events organisers from around the country are proud to announce a special dedicated event to celebrate the milestone; that is 25 years of these fine cars!!! On Saturday July 19th 2014 we are holding a mass get-together, in the centre of England (almost), at The Coventry Transport Museum and ALL members (with their families, friends etc.) are invited to join us there to mark the event!!! Bring your 300zx and park it with pride on Millennium Place - right outside the museum for the duration. Entry is free........ http://www.transport-museum.com/ There are of course some minor rules though, what with this being a very public venue.... The museum requests that drip mats or trays are used if necessary (you must provide your own) to minimise the risk of oil contaminating Millennium Place; and cars are free to be displayed between the hours of 10am and 4.30pm; in fact we must all vacate the area by 4.30. Also, whilst everyone is welcome to join us, please be advised that the display on Millennium Place is restricted to 300zxs (and 240zs if we get any takers from the Zclub) ONLY. If you do arrive in any car other than your 300zx, regrettably you will have to park in any one of the public car parks near the museum. Apparently there is a car park adjacent to the museum which costs £3 at the weekend... We all hope to see you there - and, so that we can gauge the number of visitors, please register your interest in the thread below!! We will confirm those definitely attending nearer the time; as we will need to take car registrations of those wanting to exhibit on Millennium Place. Due to public liability insurance implications, attendees will have to be "checked off" on a pre-prepared list; so please do not leave it until the day of the celebrations and hope to turn up and be permitted vehicle access to the event!! Thank you!! Richard For the committee:thumbup:

An amazing day! Anyone go for a drive? (Photos)
Nope - he had the type 3, the same as me; Gray now has it on his black 300zx.... Andy did a slight modification to the bumper to remove the "beading" above the moustache; he also got rid of the "bars" in the intercooler vents - but apart from that it was the same lip as mine because I otherwise copied him! GTZ does not fit entirely flush with the nose (like the Type 3 does) - you still get the "overbite" look, but with a sticky-outy bit at the very bottom.... Richard:wink:

You're welcome mate! I am also a big fan of the 99-spec - and was prepared to go down that route myself; but I also like the original OEM 89-90 spec front end too and when I saw the Stillen lip on Andy Isherwood's car, I decided to do that instead. There are plenty of cars running 99-spec, so this is just a little different from the norm, as you say! Go for it, I say mate. Give Mike Feeney a call and see what he can do for you.... Richard:cool:

Cheers buddy! It's a Stillen Type 3 lip mate; it just glues straight onto the stock OEM bumper.... ....If you want one, you'd have to import it from Stillen in the USA. However Mike at MJP can sort you out a good deal on importing one - you may have to wait a few weeks, but you'll save a fortune on shipping costs. From memory, it was under £230 delivered; including taxes and duties etc. And it is polyurethane, so it flexes nicely without breaking. Richard:cool:
