  1. Many happy returns Derek - and the big 7-0 today.... Congratulations; hope you have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  2. Here you go.... And since it's in the northern section of the country, you have no excuse mate.... https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?188554-Lakes-Weekend-Fat-Lamb-Inn-May-26th-to-28th-2018
  3. Don't forget the 300zx auto 'box is old-tech now - and only has 4 gears; hence can't really be compared to today's 7, 8 or 9 speed offerings. I'd leave it alone though; it's still not a bad 'box considering how far we've come in 25 years. 3000 rpm at around 90-ish isn't exactly uncivilised. Especially when most older cars were 4-speed manuals, 70mph came at around 4000rpm...
  4. Great work Lee - and the blue one is certainly looking good mate!! Also good news about the black one too.... Darren is whizzing through his jobs at the moment; I spoke to him the other day and mine won't be much longer now either..:clover: Are you coming to the Fat Lamb next month?
  5. .....Ray "Butch" Wilkins...... ...And now Eric "The Crafty Cockney" Bristow.... RIP guys - sad losses this week:sad:
  6. Yup - exactly as Pete says...... This is the same OEM tyre size as the Porsche 928s4 - so the 245/45/16 are out there; but at a price! I think Toyo and Bridgestone still make them though. And Continental will no doubt supply them in Porsche fitment - the Sport N2 probably....
  7. I'd concur with this too.... Jimmer cleaned my injector connectors and it made a hell of a difference; trouble was, they soon went green again whilst the Zed was sitting in MXD's workshop for a couple of months. When Jimmer took the car back for me, he cleaned them again and gave the connections a coat of special grease - I had no problems after that..
  8. Nice one Dave - and thanks for your support mate...
  9. Nice one Ash - be good to see you there mate!!
  10. Great work as ever Lee! We could not manage without you mate.......
  11. Happy birthday for yesterday Craig - hope you had a great day mate....
  12. Great work Lee - thanks for your continued dedication....
  13. Wow - nice one mate....:thumbup::cool:
  14. Wise words there Chris..... You must see your fair share of "sticking-plaster" jobs, being in the trade - especially at MOT time....!!
  15. PMSL - but very true....:lol: Good luck with the transfer Lee; as ever your hard work keeping us running is most appreciated mate....:clover::thumbup:
  16. I'd never have thought that, but you're right!! I do prefer the M40 to the M1 though - and the M40 generally moves quicker... I'll probably follow my sat-nav on the day and just hope it works its way around the worst of the traffic:wink:
  17. Excellent news Mark....
  18. Many happy returns Rhys - have a great day mate:happybday: Richard:cool:
  19. That's certainly the route I'll be taking - no point in heading over to the east for M1/A1, then heading back to the west, once in the north... Julia is at work until 1pm that Saturday, so I'll meet her at Aylesbury and then head up the A41, to join the M40 at junction 9. I assume you'll all be settled in by then!
  20. Yup - Jimmer is the Zed guru extraordinaire.... You can't go wrong taking your car to Powerzed Ryan; he's the best. And a damn nice guy too...
  21. Cool - glad to see you're still rocking the modded cars Chris!! Richard:thumbup:
  22. The Committee would like to wish all the club's members and their families a VERY HAPPY EASTER!! Richard:thumbup:
  23. Nice! I bought the Mishimoto (in 2016, I think).... Yours looks a more OEM fitment though; as the Mishi is definitely a chunkier upgrade. Plus, I searched everywhere for a Nissan OEM - but the UK spec auto version is no longer made. It wasn't worth buying a pattern J-spec auto rad, as I'd have lost the better auto-box oil cooling facility. I ended up installing a Mishimoto 'box cooler too - another expense, but probably worth it:wink:
  24. Nice one Andrew - I knew you'd beat everyone to it mate!! I bought one from MJP a few years ago and was frantically looking through my bills to find it...
  25. Nice - great vid Gary.....
