How sad this has yet again degenerated in to whats happened in the past rather than whats happening and in this case not, in the present time. Just more of the unwilling to forgive and forget vultures popping out from the woodwork who are hardly heard off the rest of the year :( smithy

Thanks for reminding us of the AUP mate, however i don't think anyone actually believed the committe HAD to intervene and help out, we just hoped and thought that as a club of fellow entusiasts and more importantly friends, the committee would offer their support. I accept for the odd occassion this kinda thing happens it's between buyer and seller, however in this case it was of far greater magnatude and concerned a fellow subscribed member. People every day on this forum help others out when it is not always their responsibility to do so, they do this out of of acts of kindness to help others with the same passion as them. As you said, your just 10 miles from Grahams home town, your so helpful to this club in moderating etc, however IMO, I feel to travel there when time allows and pass on some paperwork to the local police would be off greater benefit this club than pretty much anything else you could or do around here. Tis a shame all the praise for putting some good back into this bad experience has gone to someone who's not even allowed to be here on this forum, rather than to this ever criticised committee :( cheers smithy

Lambda Sensors
Ask Courtesy for a total cost with shipping, convert to £ add 20 % min and thats yer landed price, their shipping charges are usually from a different planet... Once you know this info ask the relevant traders for prices. Am sure i still have 1 brand new one unused in it's bag somewhere if that helps. cheers smithy

Exactly, personally i'd like to see that all those effected advise our committe of the details, amount, goods, date etc etc, once all the info is in, a member of the committee nearest to Grahams home town pops into the Police station with the list along with our indivdual contact details and basically says, that this guy has done a runner with all our money and we collectively would like to pursue a form of an official complaint. As I said before a large collective complaint will go far higher up than the odd " who can be bothered" little ones. Graham shouldn't be allowed to get away with this and was a member of this club, so as a club, we should all work to resolve it ?? As regards Jeff, I see from Zclub he has lifted the £40 limit value of goods to be claimed as some would have been left out, it now applies to everyone who has stated on this forum that they were ripped off by Graham foley   cheers smithy

do re-circ's need to be removed?
If fitting aftermarket dump valves, the existing stock ones either need to be disconnected or completly removed, choice is yours :) smithy

1 Hour 8 mins and the 10th Post into a well deserved thread for the benefit of this clubs members and things change  I have a lot of time for you Mike and after reading one sentence in Jeffs post on the Zclub, I know you and him are kinda alike, to quote:- "As a 300zx owner myself and a trader I understand the passion you guys have for these cars and budgeting to run and own one is no mean feat with mortgage , kids, wife / girlfriend etc so when you pay someone for a part you need and get nothing it just is not right. I hate stuff like this and it gets me down when enthusiasts get ripped off." Tis a shame thats where the similarity ends though. I can tell you for a fact I have seen our chairmans statement made to Jeff regarding his ban and know all the background. Unfortunately the "real" under lying reason behind the one given is that certain people are not willing to forgive and forget as regards Zedworld. At the end of the day it's not him who loses out, it's the many many people he has helped and still continues to do so, as you can see, he's like a coiled spring that just keeps bouncing back, cos he loves Zeds  Now to put this back on track as Dippone intended, ( fingers crossed it stays that way!) Well done that man who owes this club nothing for helping many he doesn't even know and at his own expense  Shame it was not done within this club, but there yer go. cheers smithy

555cc or 850 ?
740's with new O'rings and the new rails comes to around the 800 quid area mate, similar price to the Border kit but doesn't suffer heat soak which Border rails can. cheers smithy

cometic gaskets
It is mate, multi layered and available in 1, 1.2 or 1.4mm thicknesses. cheers smithy

555cc or 850 ?
Just so yer know, the 850 rails are not yet finished testing procedures, all other ones like 555's, 615's and 740's are and the 740'as being the most popular purchased. They expect around 3-4 weeks before they are happy enough running hours have been done on the 850 ones. cheers smithy

Thats a sad situation, however from experience I am a little sceptical, very similar scenario with a chick left in the house to take the rap, turns out this last guy was a professional con artist :( On a couple small plus points, the parts are there, there is someone at the house, this person is bound to have future contact with him OR know eventually where he is and she owes him no favours! So 1 way around this would be anyone who's willing to go round and collect the parts owed for those who can prove what they purchased and paid for, then of course we pay this person the postage costs for sending on to those still waiting, we all will end up paying a few quid more again, but least yer get your parts paid for. Pete, would you mind PMing me his address as am over on the mainland end of the month, if his place is anywhere within a 100 miles, i'll call up meself and pick up what ever, just in case though is anyone who lives near him willing to go around and get all the gear ?? Oh and possibly we need to look at creating a central bank system through the club to prevent this happening again. smithy

Perfectly correct mate, tbh the cops may not be interested in someone moaning about 30 odd quid, BUT if a list was gathered of names and amounts and them presented to the police station in his local town, then yes it would be taken seriously and dealt with rather swiftly i would expect. cheers smithy
