JAE.....Who's going???
MrP, There are three camping areas, only one does not allow cars/caravans etc. You can also camp on your own stand if you wish. Support vehicles come in all shapes & sizes (and makes). We will allow other makes in but only as support vehicles.

JAE.....Who's going???
Correct we did have all the same manufacturers together last year. However, a lot of people asked for it to be mixed up this year, in their feedback forms. Let's see how it works out and maybe we'll revert back to the 2004 style. Who knows? Your plot last year was 30m x 46m This year the plot is 28m x 92m .... a bit bigger then :D :D

JAE.....Who's going???
The size of the plot is 92m x 30m. I agree it's not slap bang in the middle but the way the ground is means the smaller clubs get these as there is a criss-cross of roads which divide this area up. When we held the meeting at E of E all those in attendance were given the opportunity of stating their preference. After that it came down to when people had booked. I accept it's not ideal. Sorry but I didn't design the roads and the grass.

Which tyres are on your Z
Not on a Z but it depends on what I'm doing. Wet or dry, track or road use. Four sets of tyres and only two sets of wheels. :( :( However, This is what happns when you get a blow out at 120mph:

JAE.....Who's going???
Which is one of the reasons why we have moved to a new venue: the East of England Showground. In addition to finding a bigger venue we have als increased the amount of space per car by about 30%. So there should be loads more room :) :)

slick tyres
As Chunk says, no need for full slicks. There are some very good tyres out there with minimal tread that will be more than sufficient. All the usual manufacturers do them so hunt around with some of the on-line tyre people.

Joint pub meet - 7 May 2005
Last eyar the 300ZX and the GTROC did a joint pub meet at the Grasshopper Inn. It would be good if we could repeate this from time to time and so thought it would be good to invite you to a pub meet we are running on 7 May in Essex. Venue: The Moorhen Location: Burnt Mill Lane, just outside Harlow in Essex, link below. Date: Saturday 7th May Time: 11:30 - 3:00 'ish Right next to the river Lea, loads of outside tables, be nice in the sun. Big car park, normal rules apply - has small but sharp speed humps in it. Landlord would appreciate numbers for grub. http://www.pub-explorer.com/essex/pub/moorhenharlow.htm Hope to see you there :) John
