Replacing VIN plates - anyone done this?
My dad gone one for the last mini he restored, think it was a like for like one. I would see a problem if it was a genuine plate, but I wouldn't change it to something not genuine

Sanding down the rear bumper of the stone chip and then moving on to the sills, am I right in thinking it is removed with a heat gun and scrapper and how far under should I go, should I go right under to the edging

TT - N/A rear diff swap
Stock the car does 0-60 in 5.5 secs, which drops down to 5 secs with basic mods. After the NA diff it drops.to about 4.5 seconds. Does that sound about right?

How much was it? What's the difference between this and the full fat conZult? Could probably do with a copy for when mines up and running

steering rack - replace or repair
My steering rack looks like it's past its best, is it best to replace it or can it be repaired? If it needs replacing, do I need to go new or will a used one be ok. If it's repairable how East is it to do it?

Has anyone done this? I'm going to do mine, but haven't seen anyone else do it yet. I'm using the master bushing kit, will I need anything else? I'm then going to fit the engine to it and fit to the car from underneath, has anyone done it this way, any problems I should know about?
