Has anyone done this? I'm going to do mine, but haven't seen anyone else do it yet. I'm using the master bushing kit, will I need anything else?

I'm then going to fit the engine to it and fit to the car from underneath, has anyone done it this way, any problems I should know about?

Maybe not a good idea to do the front tension arm, this has been known to fracture the wishbone, have a search here matey

I think the torsion arm business is more to do with solid ones or the early type of poly bushes. My fronts are polybushed, Jeff did them about 4 years ago maybe.

Front Strut Rod Bushings

Front Sway Bar Bushings

Front End Links

Rear Sway Bar Bushings

Rear End Links

Rack and Pinion Bushings

Rear Sub Frame Bushings

Rear Differential Carrier Bushings

(Must Reuse All Metal Parts)

 

Does the front subframe not have any bushes?

Don't worry, I'm having a senior moment. It just bolts straight to the car

Yeah, don't worry about the torsion bushes tearing the front member. It was older bushes that were too rigid that caused this. ES and whiteline both do bushes for them that wont cause this problem..

I have solid tension rods with no probs

Just keep an eye on them, it's not guaranteed to happen. I check my front arms annually because there prone to failing there anyways, their old.

lets face it if you keep a eye on it and it did crack its pennys to fit a second hand one and very easy to do

Exactly, just better to catch a crack rather than find you have already snapped it while driving along as it's been broken for a while and finally gave up.
