front brake pads
Just looked at the left front brake pads, outside ones are worn a hell of a lot more than the inside ones, does this suggest seized pistons on the inside? When I replace the pads, should I be also be doing a caliper rebuild? if so, wheres the best place for caliper kits and standard brake pads? Thanks John

replacing front anti-roll bar bushes
I got my anti roll bar superflex bushes in the post today, it is not very clear if the paste they give you is to aid in getting the bushes into the housing, or if its for the inside diameter in contact with the roll bar. Thanks John

M.O.T and lsd
It soon will be time to get my zed mot'd. I saw on this forum an article that said do not have your car's brakes tested on the rolling road tester, due to possible damage to the diff. a) What do I ask the testing station about other equipment that they need to test without rolling road ? b) If they try to bullsh*t me and say they have a rolling road that is safe for lsd's whats my comeback ? Is there such a device ? Thanks John

Fully synthetic oil
I would never do it, but I have heard that it is ok to mix fully synthetic oil with standard mineral oil, due to the fact that "fully synthetic" oil is a bit of a "con", that its really just mineral oil refined one stage further, or something like that. Is this true? Thanks John

Air intake pipes for an n/a on ebay

I would be very interested to see how they all go together, I imagine it will be a week till you get yours, I think the seller says 10 day delivery. Cheers John

Oil Additives ? Yes Or No ??
Engine flush should not be needed, use a good quality synthetic, NO ADDITIVES, and change your oil and filter regular. There is a big difference of opinion on the grade, I personally think a minimum of 10/40, or maybe 15/50 in the summer. Non turbos will be fine with 10/40 Castrol Magnatec semi synth, mines a n/a, but last oil change I put Mobil 1 15/50, costs a bit more, but over the year its not a great deal is it. John
