  1. Me is going to take my zed off the road in December to avoid the icy conditions, will go back on the road in March 05. In the mean time i'm just going to have to drive my van all the time :(
  2. I'll have to look at buying another wheel then, was a bit worried about the safety of the wheel, dont want it disintegrating when driving along! Cheers.
  3. I have the standard UK rear wheels and I noticed that I have a crack on one of the spokes. It goes from one end of the spoke to the other but not quite meeting yet. I removed the wheel and looked at the other side and it is definatly cracked and not a surface scratch. I need to know if its possible to repair such a thing or just get another wheel?
  4. You could always try adjusting the biting point of the clutch pedel check out this link http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/clutchadjustment.html Also if you havent already, check the clutch fluid and also maybe bleed the clutch.
  5. I love the rx8 its a great car, but as for the Z looking out of date, well thats just wrong! (maybe from the rear it looks a bit dated though)
  6. This is somthing I have got to do on my UK Z. Any idea if it is a difficult job to get the spoiler off and how long does it take?
  7. nice kills mate. Such a nice feeling when you destroy cars that are 6 times or more expensive!
  8. 5 pound 60 for a Z, 7 pound 20 for a poop, 20 pound for a pork, I'll take the Z thanks :)
  9. Zed 0-60 5.5 topspeed 155mph. Megan 0-60 6.5 top speed 146mph. Zed looks fantastic. Megan looks crap. I think the 225 is a quick car for a 4 pot, but it's certainly no match for the Z.
  10. Zed 300hp, 280ftlb, 1600kg. Megan 225bhp, 221ftlb, 1355kg. Nuff said.
  11. Hmm, you must of been a non turbo Z LOL. The Megan is 225bhp, same as a non tub Z but abviously lighter. http://www.carpages.co.uk/renault/renault_megane_renaultsport_225_part_1_20_09_03.asp
  12. Yes it's very sad m8. I'm confident the 300 will pick up in price soon though, especially when all the dog rough ones RIP.
  13. Wonder why those guys from steer from the rear dont come on this forum? They could give loads of advice i'm sure.
  14. Just got the dvd, nice to see those zeds tearing up the tyres and zed lookes awesome drifting! That starlet was amazing too 4wd 2l turdo shame it looks so crap.
  15. Ok thanks, I will ask my trusty machanic to check it for me, hope its a easy job to do. Do you know what the fuel pressure is set at and would it be worth increasing it a bit from standard?
  16. Thanks m8 for the info. I have a JWT chip. So I take it i'm running close to the limit, is it possible to adjust the fuel pressure with standard regulator and pump or is there another way of doing it? Can anyone explain what the two numbers represent in the graph? Thanks
  17. I have spent around £1000 on mods though LOL
  18. I have spent £240 purley on repairs ie things that have broken. Things like tyres oil changes are seperate.
  19. I just dug this out of my records. The guy at thor said it was a little lean but was not detting. Does anyone know if these values are ok for the zed engine, am I running close to the limmit? Bearing in mind this was taken on a cold January day, would a hot summer day make it more lean? I understand what AFR means but have no idea what the numbers mean. Thanks.
  20. some good vids http://www.z32.org/austin/video/
  21. Presuming you have standard tyres and wheels, the front are 33psi and the rears are 36psi.
  22. Got to agree with steve-o, thats sound advice m8.
