  1. Its an add on which you have to buy. If you got it with the group buy, I dont think any one got it. Its so you can keep the accerlerator to the floor while changing grear. It drops the revs to a preset level so the turbos dont spool down. It mustn't do your clutch any good though. Ouch!

Its spyware he has on his computer some where
  3. Electrical gauges work on resistence. The scale may not be the same. Lucky the dash temp sensor is the same scale as the dial I got. HOWEVER, because the signal was shared it did mean it read under slightly. For example when I disconnected the aftermarket one, the dash needle would move up a degree or 2 and the same when I disconnected the dash one with the aftermarket one.
  4. Fit it now? There is nothing for it to control yet ;)

Its not this forum. you have some spyware running. Do you have Kazaa installed? goto http://www.webroot.com/wb/products/spysweeper/index.php and install Spysweeper Click on the try it for free on the right of the screen, install it, do an up date and run it. it will search for known spyware.
  6. Shall I install my AVCR now or shall I install it after the engine is run in. Doing it later will make the det sensor work which important when running in, I think. Plus it could remove temptation of turning the boost up. or shall I stop being soft and install it?
  7. Least his aerial works. More than most Zs ;)
  8. Well this should do my yearly bounus some good. We do profit sharing at Tote, sorry toteSport now. When I last looked at the book on the out right we had taken maybe £100 on Greece but probably took £3,000,000 on every one else. :D

If you dont have a boost controller, the turbos will be in safety boost. I think the ECU will give a knock sensor error too.
  10. I think it does have anti lag. Says JWT NOS Spool-up kit, in the mods
  11. MAC, I know you go on about US BHP being smaller than out BHP, are you sure that an American second is longer than a UK second ? ;)
  12. Nice one :D I dont know whether I would have waited that long for my Z :( But its getting that way already LOL
  13. I think you may need planning permission, or if not, you will have to check with the council that there are no water or gas lines under there, as you would be surprised how shallow they maybe. My sister dug up a phone line by accident while doing gardening. But the phone company where at fault because it wasnt deep enough. ;)
  14. I think you do need permission to dig a pit. I wouldnt do a DIY job if I was you. I would get a pro out to do it. If the walls of the pit are not stong enough and cave in, it could cause structural damage to the garage walls.
  15. No I think you missed the joke of the post ? ;)
  16. Do we know if this car has Anti Lag? Which is a possiblity?
  17. I like Sony VAIO but they are a little expensive. Probably the best you can get out there but you pay a lot just for the name. There customer services have a lot to be desired. Cath bought a VAIO about 2 years ago. Nothing too special but it cost just under a grand. It ran for about 3 days and then the screen went white and wouldnt come back. So I rang the place I bought it from and they said ring Sony, so I did. I was told that they cant help me until I register it and I can register it now. So I did, then I was asked what the problem was and I told them. They could fix it, but it meant the computer would have to be sent away between 6 and 8 weeks and if they couldnt fix it I would get a reconditioned one. I told them that it wasnt on, as the laptop was only bought 3 days ago for about £1000, and now I will have to wait 6-8 weeks to get it fixed and even then I may get a used one. After many phone calls and hours of argument they still wouldnt back down. I had to wait 6 to 8 weeks for a possible 2nd hand replacment for my £1000 3 day old laptop. In the end Scan, the place I bought it from, agreed that they would swap it. So just a word of warning mate. If anything goes wrong, Sony only look after their profits.
  18. Thats an old one.
  19. Lots of country side. I watched a program where people moved from London to Canada. They got a huge beautiful house a little out of the city, where the person who was helping them move in said, never let your cat out because it will never come back. Owls, bears or wolves will have it.
  20. Is this still going on? Loads of people on here have put A'PEXi filters on and not had anything remapped. You should reset your ECU so it can learn again

Yes. The last 300ZX was made in 2000 so you can get 1998. Look on autotrader at 300ZXs. A lot will be shown as 1998 / 1997 300ZX. Legally its not 1998, but they do it to catch people's attention.

Be careful. Many people put the reg of the car as the year the car was imported and not the year the car was made. Many times I have seen cars on autotrader advertised as a 1998 300ZX but was infact a 1990 but imported in 1998
  23. I have seen a black one round there a few times. May not be the same one, as I have seen quite a few Zs at Southport. Most comon ones are a blind twonk in a red Z who never seems to see me even though he is trying to get onto a roundabout and I drive past him, on the roundabout. And a grey UK one driven by a woman
  24. How much you willing to spend? A lot of laptops have wireless built in and I have yet to see a laptop which doesnt have an PCMIA slots.
