I've been investigating emigration to Canada recently and have just found out to my horror that you can't import second hand non US/Canadian cars into Canada unless they are at least 15 years old. So there goes any plans to take my 1993 UK spec Zed.
I suppose that storage for 3 years might be an option. Any ideas if any companies do such a thing and how much?
The 3 years may be less of an issue than I thought since the Canadians Insurers also penalise new imigrants by treating them as inexperienced drivers, so the immediate insurance would probably have been horrific. Also unlike the civilised world, they don't let you exchange your license but make you take a driving test even if you have been driving for 20 years.
