  2. Done a little search and the 3000GT is 320lb heavier than a 300ZX. But I think they 300ZX they compaired it with was a TT Manual 2 seater. 3000GT I found between 3790-3800lb 300ZX I found between 3470-3500. Add another 100-150lb for 2+2 I would say, but the weight distribution is better for 2+2
  3. passenger side about foot an half in from the passenger wheel. Its around that area.
  4. Yes got it from the US. It works very well you can tell the difference they way it handles. Only problem I had with it is its a little too high over the plenum and catches on the bonnet a little.
  5. Ask the 3000GT people and they think their car is faster, ask us and we know the 300zx is faster. Most of us has seen the "No Chance mate, no chance " I know little about the 3000GT but I have heared they are a bitch to tune up. For the 300ZX, most are twinturbo, virtually all are T-Top, not too many manuals but they are in impossible to find. You will have to have a drive of both and then see for yourself what you like personally. One person looks for one lot of characteristics in a car and another person something else.

  7. I would vote for purple as its the colour of my car but there is no option for it.
  8. Unless your car is over heating or getting close to over heating its not worth it. A car gets hot for a number of reasons. Could be airlocks, radiator cap faulity, engine mods all cause temperature to go up. Air flow will be restricted a little by the mesh, but at over 100mph it should be more than enough air getting in.

  10. Im on the look out for a new brake setup. What would be the best option? Get a stop tech kit from the US or something? Or get some calipers here and get everything seporatly? I could then hold out for some AP calipers or brembos

  15. Sounds like every other Japanese Performance mag, who do features on the writers and editors favourate cars and nothing gets a look in. So expect to just see Supras and Subarus in the mag all the time.
  16. There was something called like "Nissan racing challenge" on the PC which had the Z32. Cisco heat did as mentioned I think Chase HQ 2 had one too.
  17. Some one in the US tried to make them, but the profit level is marginal and quite a few got condensation in them. There is write up on the net on how to make one yourself. You will have to buy an EL sheet and transistor.

  21. Start by disconnecting the Amp and stereo see if it still happens.
  22. They are all new belts in good condition and yes I have a lightened pulley. I will try the talc trick too.
  23. It will be a fuse somewhere. Have you checked the mirror fuse? Is it with the fuses in the footwell or is it in the fueses under the bonnet?
  24. The front of the engine has been squeeking alot and I have finally found out what it is. All of the belts are squeeking, they are not slipping as I have adjusted the tension on all of them but now they just squeek as they go round. Is there anything I can do to stop them squeeking? Are there any old tricks I can do? Stuart
