speed camera section
Problem is, I think, we can have a section for everything, and it will end up looking like Scoobynet.co.uk with more sections than members, well nearly. Also if I post about a van parked up on the B9252 for example, it would only be handy if, A) There are people around that area who know what and where the B9252 is B) If the van is there a lot of all of the time, C) People who are going traveling plan their route and then search the camera page for any mention of any of the roads they will be going down. Which could mean searching for the road number of every road and street name of every road they will go going on. D) That it is kept upto date. Posts where sightings of these cameras have gone, the posts are amended or removed. Other wise over the years we will have a forum page full of single posts about sightings which are only relivent for a very small percentage of the forum members.

mortgage
I moved out about 2 weeks ago. Strange at first but you get used to it. As for an investment. Its OK for people who bought their house for £45,000 15 years ago and paying £300 ish. But people like you and I are paying £800-£900 a month for a £125,000 house which will probably go down in value, as I cant see them going any higher.

air con question??
The replacement gas used now is not as good as the R12, and thus needs more compression to make it work at the same level. An addative is mixed with the new gas for cars which work on the R12 for some reason. I think it makes the liquid thinner. Anyway, what usually happned was hoses and seals blew when the new gas was put in due to the highter compression. Not all cars did this because some are stronger than others. Luckly the 300ZX air con piping system seems to be good enough to handle the pressure and the compressor seems to be large enough to cope too. Its something I read about a year ago on the internet about air con.

U Gotta Read This!
Well broken necks on their own tend to be very fatial. Maybe the brain hemerage, internal bleeding and smashed organs would have killed him slowly but the broken neck got there first.

Yay back on line.
I have been moving house, I then had to wait 16 days for Telewest to install the internet. :(

Isn't E-bay a funny old place
I got a 20p coin commemorating the Wales Rally I think, as it has a Subaru and Escort Cosworth on it. I wonder how much a Subaru owner would pay for it ;)

Distribution of wealth?
But when you went to university, where you expected to pay £1500 to go, and can now go up to £9000 a year? You had grants which where not worth much. People get a maxium of £3000 loan which has to be paid back and the university will take £1500 off that before you start leaving £1500 to last the year. When I was doing my computing course the expected you to have certain books which the cheapest was £95.

Racelogic Traction control
Launch control is really only for Manuals. It gives you a 2nd rev limiter so you can hold the accelerator to the floor and it will bounce off a set limit (set by you) which gets the turbos spooling up. When the car starts moving the limiter is removed, and the amount of slip allowed by the traction control is dynamic untill you get up to speed to give you the best possible pull off.

deep sh....t
If a drop of water gets on the actual sensor of the MAS it will stop it from working. If you clean your air filter you have to make sure its perfectly dry before you put it on. I put it on one of the house radiators for a day. But I would feel you have little need for house central heating. ;)

M30z???
There was one in the UK for sale about a year and half ago. I think it was up for £20,000. Said to be setup for 200mph and has infact done 200mph.

mortgages
I went to an independent mortgage advisor for my mortgage. He searched all the available mortgages and gave us a list of the best ones. He then also arranged it all. There where no charges as he gets commission from the banks.

runway's
When I looked into getting an airfield track day organised they wanted £2700-3000 to have the whole place for a day. That includes marshalling and St. John's Ambulance present too.

we can dream
There is also a 2000 spec bumper but you dont hear people talking about it. Its just slightly modified 1999 spec one. There was a 1999 spec 2 seater TT up for sale about 2-3 years ago, it only had 1000km on the clock which is hardly run in. They wanted £19,995 for it. The VERY last 300ZX is in a museum in the US. It has a policy of only displaying cars which where no longer in production. Apparently they had the space ready for it cince 1996 and then had to wait until they stopped making them.

Speed Cameras
The real story is, He was driving home after an afternoon in the pub, and was in a little rush because the MOT and insurance had ran out so he needed to spend little time as possible on the road. On the dual carrageway he saw the gatso coming up and thought that he could speed through but mate it so the car which he was about to over take will block the view of his reflective numberplate from the camera. He mis-judged the timing and went through the lights at a speed of 72mph and he wants to know if there is any way of getting out of it? ;) hehehehehe Only joking. Where you the one closest to the camera? I think they are automoted now, and I dont know if the computer will work out who was speeding and just get their information. It should really!!!!!!! If not, if you get a letter through the post, write back to them saying that you remember the camera going off and you believe it was another car which set it off. They then should check whether it is your car or not. Was there a partition between the lanes of the dual carrageway? Is it posible that a car in the other direction set it off. Also double check that there are no new 30mph signs which have been slapped up. Another posibility is that I have heard of some cameras ramdomly setting off just to keep people on thier toes and to show the camera is real. I have never seen them personally and I think I have only seen one source saying they exist, and that was a while ago.
