  1. Make a dual boot. Go get another hard drive for £30 and put it on that.
  2. So far so good. Luck that all my hardware I use have 64bit drivers. Everything is really fast and smooth. You get Microsoft Internet Explorer 64bit with it, and for speed, it beats FireFox hands down so far. Maybe Microsoft have learned their lesson with it, and made IE better. Any one else using it?
  3. I got 89 too :D
  4. Unfortunately divx now as adware on it. Adverts pop up when you run vids. Very annoying.
  5. where and how are you getting those made?
  6. GPS is about 25 mile from preston, and C&S Woods is about 4 miles down the same road.
  7. Hi mate. Imported cars are neither here nor there. They are usually modified quite a bit or totally standard. There are cars inbetween, but all the ones I have seen are standard or modded. Plus the Japanese who mod them love having gadgets and dials in the cockpit and most are not bothered with having wires showing which personally I dont like If I was you I would try to find a totally standard import if you are looking for an import. Most have already had the wheels changed, usually to F40 replicas LOL. I would choose a standard one as you usually get no history with an imported car, you may get some but it will be in Japanese and, unless you can read it, is usless. If the car has some visiable mods, you dont know whether there are any internal mods, or if the turbos are standard or not. This can cause problems if the engine is running 450bhp but the engine parts are basically stock where you would be pushing them to the limits. With totally stock there is a greater chance the engine would not have been stressed and is more likely to be looked after and in better condition. Handling is one of the things which people over look. Better shocks, springs, roll bar, and stut braces can really transform the cars handling. Most ZXs are close to 15 years old with parts such as suspention and springs, are probably the same. Even if they have been changed halfway through the cars life, they are still nearly 8 years old and based on 1980s technology, so there is a lot of improvment that could be made. As for the engine modifications. You are doing it correctly starting with the simple things, but let me warn you. You will want more power after a year or so with those mods. I was happy with the mods you listed. I ended up taking the engine out and totally rebuilding it for even more power. :D LOL Good luck with your shopping. :D Stuart
  8. I agree, with the cost of them, and the pain they are to get off, you may as well taken them off and put new ones on.
  9. No one got my run :(
  10. Perhaps like you said, when you look at it, its obvious what to do. LOL Do a write up with pictures then and we will store it on the forum :D
  11. Most probably just a custom one. There is no way of telling what chip it is other than reading the map and compairing it to every other major brand chip. Ask John Dixon, he makes custom chips too.
  12. Thought they give you a coupon to use in a number of garages around the country.
  13. There are more images here http://media.pc.ign.com/media/640/640209/img_2678986.html http://media.pc.ign.com/media/640/640209/img_2678994.html http://media.pc.ign.com/media/640/640209/img_2593368.html
  14. Isnt this the computer game which some one came on here about wanting help making the sequal. They wanted 300ZXs to record sounds for. They used the Thor RR for it too. There is a PC game called Nissan Pro Racing or something like that which is just Nissans so its got skylines, Zs and gtir in it. Sega GT 2002 also has the 300ZX in it.
  15. I remember those types of scalextric coming out where you can change lanes but didnt notice if they where 300zx or not. Cool!
  16. Seals go no matter what. Its a bit like saying if I drive slowly will my tyres never go bald.
  17. I have been with orange now for 6-7 years and every year I cancel the contract and get a new one as they give better deals for new customers. One time they said they would extend my existing deal for another 6 months if I didnt change. But that means after 6 months I would be paying more and getting less than if I canceled and started again. So guess what I did. You can change to pay as you go for 3 months and then when you go to a contract you will be classed as a new customer and you can keep the number.

there will be no difference to the overall drive of the car if the chip is good. You should only notice when you floor it and then the car will be faster.
  21. when speaking to the local car parts shop I asked the same thing. He told me to use cheap mineral oil as it does the same job and is better for the engine.
  22. I was hoping they would go up and Im a Wigan Athletic fan. A little sorry to not see them going up.
  23. I got that clutch too Chris, and Im running more than 14psi. But I think I am pushing it to the limit.
  24. Does any one know what they actually do with them? Cos I got my stock turbos reconded with new wheels, shafts, 360º bb, seals and step gap rings, and they where cheaper than the JWT 500 turbos
  25. There was a Knight Rider day on Bravo today. Over 12 hours of Knight Rider. :D
