  1. Here is the silly thing though. They put blue ones on the blue cars. Still looks shit though. Stuart
  2. Better than footballer who wear their wife's underwear and wear skirts. Hmmmmm. Stuart
  3. I dont think they move if the car is not moving or it has to be moving a min speed before it does. And even then the wheels turn very little hardly enough to see it if you are not very close. Stuart
  4. That is because most alloy places are now just there for boy racers who just put alloys on for the sake of it. I know some one with a Pug and put 17's on. He said he thinks it handles better, but then lost the back end and then said he didnt know, and is now wanting 16's That is the type of person who alloys places make their money from. There are 2 reasons why I want a new set of alloys. Larger for larger brakes and wider for traction. Most places can help with the larger but look shocked when you want wider. Stuart
  5. Yeah look at the world cup. South Korea got to the semis didnt they? France didnt even score a goal. World Cup means little. 2nd half was much better but its still England's first win in about 5 or 6 matches. What I hate is the papers will be filled with "Oh aint we great" and then we will play shit for another 10 matches again. Look at Germany. 5-1 yay fantastic, then we played shit for over 10 matches. Stuart
  6. Should run fine on normal Unleaded but a lot of people including myself use Optimax. Its a few pence more than normal but I get better MPG with it. B19rks cleaned his engine bay with a tooth brush. Looks great though. Stuart
  7. Steam cleaning the engine is not the really reckomended thing with such an old car. Many people have had problems afterwards as the old wiring loam is brittle. Stuart
  8. I think the other Stuart can fit them. Stuart
  9. Very nice :D
  10. I have the very unique oportunity to be able to watch the England v Turkey match and be on the internet as I am at work. Is any one else watching/watched yet another dire performance by what is supposed to be our national sport? I think they should all just be full time modles or something considering they spend most of their time posing. No one on the England team do I now class as World Class. Stuart.
  11. Up load the pic again without the spaces in the name.
  12. :D As you said. Its a Z. May not be as fast as a TT but there are only a few times when you actually use that extra power. Summers coming up and that is slow driving with the roof off time any ways ;) Congrats. Any pics of it? Stuart

Anyway enough of the scare tactics ;) Welcome to the board and the land of Z Stuart
  14. Yes Purple was avaliable on the Z for the later models. :) :p Stuart
  15. By the sounds of it if you have damaged that, there is a possibility that you bent the frame slightly. Most of the things you can get 2nd hand, but dont bother with the suspention. Always try to get new suspention. Ask Andy Z for the wheel and steering arm he may be able to keep the cost down. You have a UK or Jap Z? Cos if you have a UK Z it may be harder to find a wheel. There are a few scrap yards that do Jap cars they may be able to help. Stuart
  16. I bet most of it is because the engine is such a bitch to work on.

And is still cheaper than Super.
  18. I think the GTO looks really good too. The later models have the red tape over the lights to make it look like its got quad lights but looks really tacky. The front looks good and the back looks good but to me the front and the back dont look good together, if you get what I mean. Stuart
  19. There you go.! ;) You confident for the Rugby World Cup Warren? ;) Stuart
  20. The person who I bought my Z from bought a GTO. 400bhp I think it was. Dont know why. The Z is alot easier to mod than a GTO and 450bhp is not far off. Stuart

I did the 60bhp to 300bhp jump. :D Frightening but I have respect for the car and I dont want to kill anyone. Stuart
  22. Yeah wasnt sure which one it was for.
  23. I am sure I have seen places that sell them because they has different coloured one like a gold Z on a black background and sinlver on back and silver on red. Stuart
  24. Some one on here had a GTO before changing to a Z. From what I hear its a very detached drive. I wanted one before I looked at Zs and I decided to go with a Z. I think its the only Japanese Super Car that is heavier than the Z. With the 4WD (55%front 45%rear) you lose alot of power to the wheels. It will outperform a Z on the twisty roads but not on a straighter road. And where is the only place you really get a chance to foor it? Motorways, dual carrageways which are not twisty. Stuart
  25. I think there is a screw where the mirror is joint to the bit on the car. Try screwing that. Also push it and make sure its clipped back into position. Does the speedo have a converter on it. They are usually the first thing to go, but my speedo packed in a few months after having my Z. I had to get a new dial cluster. :( I got a 2nd hand one. You will feel less attached to it when you try a TT. :D Stuart
