Kung Foo Football!
I remember that happening, because I noticed that the fuel cap was off when it was driving into the pits, because usually the car stops and then it opens as I remember a few teams having trouble with getting them open a few times. As I remember Benaton got fined heavily for not having the cap on the car. Stuart

Famous goals quiz...
I think the same as Zimon really Goal 1 Beckham his famous half way goal. Goal 2 Hurst 1966 final, you can tell by the other people on the pitch. Goal 3 Dont know but I really doubt it is Maradona. Goal 4 Dont think it was Pele, cos he wasnt No4. But I do recognise it. Its something resent I think Goal 5. Deffinatly Gazza you can tell with the ball going in the air. Stuart

Breaking Z's
There are a few places in Manchester which have 2nd hand Z bits but they are expensive though. Try Andy first. I was quoted £180 for a petrol tank I got it from Andy a lot lot lot cheaper. Stuart

Skyline - Bwahahahahaha!!!!
Life is not a straight line. I am amazed that people dont want to take their cars on tracks, where there are corners and you have to brake. That is the best way to see how good your car is. :D Stuart

North v West Drag Racing
I remember some one mentioning this a few weeks ago. Would any one be up for it? It would be a good day and a chance to meet up in the middle somewhere. If we can get enough, make a little fun out of it and make a sort of league table for the day, North v South. Get a few people with Vid cameras to go get a few good angles and try to make a small program about it. ;) Would any one be up for this. There is a lot of talk this would be a good place to LEGALY do some action. Any one game for this? I am. Stuart

What action can be taken when car is a Cat B writeoff but HPI clear?
When you take out insurance you sign a document saying that all the information you provided is correct to the best of your knowledge. You are not able to access this data about the car which they are, so its all their fault. If they keep being difficult, tell them you are going to seek a legal advice about it. Also you sould tell your local police station. Some where along the lines, this car has been ordered to be scrapped and hasnt. So either the insurance company who said it sould be scrapped. This mean the insurance company who said it was CAT B scrap sold it to a scrap yard who didnt scrap it. And it also means that the insurance company didnt declare is scrapped. Some one is in big trouble. Stuart

Mr2 Turbo
The MR2 Turbo is a very very fast car. But there are 2 different powers though. Some are 245BHP and some are 220bhp if I remember correctly. They are very light and because they are rear engine and rear wheel drive they lose very little through transmission. I would expect that a 245bhp Turbo would keep up with a Z to 60-70 mph before the extra torque of the Z had an advantage. They way to tell the difference between a Turbo and NA MR2 is the look at the grill at the back. NA the grill is flat, Turbo the grill vents are rised. Good story though. Stuart

Lost its Edge?
Safty boost is 7PSI. You really need an after market turbo gauge to get a true reading. My dash says 14PSI when I know that I am only running stock 9PSI. My after market gauge confirms that I am running at 9. Lots of people say that their car has lost its edge. But 90% of the time its just that you have got used to the car. Stuart

New starter
Welcome to the board and hope you get a good Z. But I think you know that with performance cars there are some really bad ones out there and some people are just unlucky. Where abouts in the country are you from? Stuart

New parts from Courtesy.
 over £225 for them, plus the TAX and import duty and $40 for shipping. They do seem very expensive for what they are, but they are probably OEM ones.

Taking my car apart. The Diary.
I can see how that its air getting in is the easiest explination, but I have a few problems with that idea. If you have a full tank and then drive until its empty, the there will nearly no pressure in the tank as virtually all the fuel will be gone and virually no air will be in there. Surely that is enough to cause the tank to collaps. And wouldnt that pressure cause it to suck the cap in so hard it will be very hard to turn? I dont know, I'm just asking. Another thing that confuses me, if you open the cap and get the hiss. Put it back on, wait 5 mins, start the engine for 2 mins turn it off and take the cap off again, you set the hiss but the same amount as last time and I doubt that enough fuel has gone from the tank to cause another hiss. This is what I have observed, I may be wrong, thats why I am asking. Stuart

Rear Steering - MOT
Could be anything. Could be ball joint, could be bearings or bushes.

Taking my car apart. The Diary.
But I thought it was air escaping. I can see all the fumes coming out when I open it up. Stuart, as for the welding. Gas ones used Carbon Dioxided mix for the welding. This means there is no oxygen in the weld and thus cant rust, from the inside. I know if you dont use CO2 oxygen will mix into the weld and there is a possibility that it will rust on the inside. My dad also says the electric ones are harder to used and you have to use thicker weld because it isnt as strong. Stuart

About once a year I get all my wheels balanced and have 4 wheel tracking.. You can usually tell when you need it balancing with a fluctuating spinning noice. Once you know what it sounds like you know what to listen for. Stuart.
