Vauxhalls are the most deprectiaed (spelling;)) car in the UK. You can buy a new Astra for £12,500. You can buy a A1 3 year old Astra for £5,000. The Vectra's are not much better either. Stuart

Am I the only person who thinks that Digital TV quality is horrid? My girlfriend had cable and watching any channel I could see squares on the screen like when you compress a JPEG too much. Watching football you can see flickering squares around the players and the ball. The pitch would be shown in only 3 shades of green like on a bad football computer game and you can see the join where the different shades join. The grass would have not detail on it untill the camera stops in the same place for 4 or 5 seconds. For people who know about how it works, it actually uses information from the previous picture to create the next image. So when you see a football moving through the air, the image of the football is most probably about 5 frames old but its just moved it slightly and chaged the size and position. I remember watching a travel program and there was a shot of of a field as they went past on a train, and the picture was just filled with large squares of different shades of green. Now she has Sky its better but not by much. Does any one else notice the terrible quality of Digital TV? Stuart

Thing with Plasma screens, they work simalar to LCD screens, but use gas instead of liquid. If so its hard to get screen burn on them as if you do, leave the screen off for a few days will clear it. Thats what happens to my LCD. I remember on my Mega Drive it said never play it on a rear projector, as pausing the game could cause screen burn as the colours are more intense on a computer game over anologue TV. Stuart

You should hear the ABS kicking in. Even it is on a loose road surface, the ABS should try to stop the skid. Any error in the ABS and the light should come on. Does the bulb work? Does the ABS light come on with the ignition? Stuart

The RX-7 was originally going to be a 300ZX but they they picked the cars on looks alone and on 300ZX owner is tacky enough to put stickers all over it and neon light under ;) If you watch the special features on the DVD, there is a section with a computer animation of the street race. Dom's car is a 300ZX. beermonster: Films with a Z so far I have seen are, Teen Agent, Time Cop, The Pimp :eek: I didnt see it but apparently it was the pimps car and played a big part in the film. On Lord of the Ring, in the begining when you are told the tale of Salron and the battle of his army and the Men and Elves. When you get a close up of some one looking shocked as Salron appears. Look beinid him and there is an Elf with the biggest cheesiest grin ever. Stuart

If the turbos leak, after decatting, they where going to start leaking quite soon anyway. I have heard stories about the turbos leaking weeks after decatting, but I dont know any one on this forum who had any problems. Every one I know I know are fine. For the turbo replacement, some places take the engine out, some dont. Some people use it as an excuse to up rate their turbos :D Stuart

With spoilers like that you dont need to buy one from a Z shop. They are all universal. There must be loads of places in this country who sell spoilers like that. Stuart

They wont blow up turbos. They MAY cause them to leak oil. Stuart

I think most Z rear bumpers cater for 2 pipes, becuase if they only catered for 1 they would cut their number of potential of customers right down. A good body shop would have little problem blanking off one side of the bumper. Stuart

On Fast And The Furious, near the end when the Supra is after the 2 bikes, there is a shot looking up the road and you see the bikes jump over the brow of the hill.
