After reading the post on the GTO forum how about a friendly GTO V 300ZX at Santa Pod? I do mean friendly. No calling eachothers cars or what not. I found a Vid from Thailand where they did this and it looked like a good day. Would any one be up for a 300ZX v GTO day at the Pod? Stuart

Going fast round corners is the most fun. :D

Some places penalise you for ending the loan earlier. My girl friend got a loan from Lombard and one of the reasons she got it from there is there it no early pay off fee.

Stalling when you let off the accelerator sounds like the TPS. Happened to me. I cleaned it and reset it and it was fine after. Stuart

I dont believe the light house answer is the correct one. Now a days ships have fantastic GPS systems which will tell them within a few feet, where they are in the world, and along with underwater radar which tells them how deep the water is, I dont think a light house would have saved them, when all this equipment couldnt. ;) Stuart

One point, traction control works but cutting the power to the engine, or making the power drop to a level where traction is gained again. If you use a normal TC and it cuts the injector, will there still be enough NOS injected to still cause a wheel spin. Only a little bit of NOS is injected at once, so will that small amount still be enough to keep the wheel spin going? I dont think it will. Stuart

An Automatic chip will happily work away in a Manual. A manual wont work in an auto.

I have seen loads of Supras on the road, loads of GTOs a few RX-7 s but every time I see a Z on the road I look thinking, "Whats the hell is that?" Even though I have one the look still makes me turn my head ;) Stuart :D

I feel the same about the Goodrich I have. Floor it and it grips really wel. Go round corners and you can feel it slide and you can hear them squeel. I dont care what people say about them, the Bridgestone SO2 are the best tyre I have had. Stuart

No there are a few other traction control systems out there. Race Logic is said to be the best. There are a few ways Traction Control can work. 1. Apply brakes. But you will fry your brakes and is not as effective. 2. Cut injector pluse. This acually stops any fuel going into the engine helping you to get traction. Very little if any damage occurs to the engine. This will only cut the fuel and not the NOS. 3. Cut spark. The fuel goes into the engine but is not ignited. This will work with NOS systems but could damage your engine. 4. Accelerator Intervension. This will work with electronic accelerators, but the idea of a computer taking it over is not a welcome one. You really need the cut the spark system. I dont know if Race Logic do that though. Email them and find out. How does the progessive NOS controller work? Does it go off speed or revs? If its revs I cant see why launch will mess it up. Launch is more than just a 2nd rev limiter. It controls a progressive slip percentage to gain maximum grip. Why you want NOS away? Have you already got a boost controller? Stuart
