Considering it was planned in less than 24 hours it was a good little meeting. 5 Zs arrived. AdamR, Scoops, DaveW, SRRAE (me) and Graham S made a nice late arrival. Here are the pics. Probably about 3 or 4 seconds of letting the air through on the tyre pump. Do it for 2 seconds and then stop to see the pressure and to let the air settle and check the pressure, then another 2 seconds etc. If its coming out that bad it maybe your hoses are leaking. Spray WD40 all round the join of the hoses and when you pressurise it, look for bubbles. People use soapy water too. Stuart

I didnt warm it up specially but it was warm as I just got it back from the garage. Stuart

I got mine today. Here is how it works Take off the nose panel Take off the MAS and airfilter Put in Vijay's gadget and tighten the screw making it air tight. Attach the air pump and let air in. I have heard dont go over 5psi as you are putting pressure on parts which dont usually have it. Let the air in and listen for hissing. Simple. So what did I find? I got a hissing from around battery area and I removed it to investigate. Well I found the batter had been sitting on a hose for a very long one. Not guilty! I have never moved it. The hose was squashed and had a huge hole in it. This is the hole. This is the squashed bit I cut the pipe about an inch below the squashed part and reattached it to the little solinoid it was plugged into. Sorted! Any one thinking of getting one? You should. Its a very good kit and is the only real way you can find leaks like this. Stuart

DaveW wants it tomorrow. I would rather go tonight. If we go during the day we meet up at 12 we go home by 3-4 and you cant do much with the rest of the day. Plus all the Saturday boy racers will be out tonight ;) Stuart

When tonight? I would rather it be this evening, as tomorrow I have my first Sunday off in months and I planned to have it off (double ontondre) with the girl friend.

Tonight would be best for me. M6 between Junction 24 and 27 is terrible. Im not bothered where it is as long its not, miles and miles and miles away.

Oh your poor souls. Saturday when I work its 9 till 6 on days when there is no football. 9 till 8 when their is football and 9 till 10:30 when their is night horse racing on. Then I work on the Sunday 10 till 7. Stuart

Originally I thought they where OK good price very helpful staff, but the last 3 months they have been murder. Its a slightly complex story. I had my 300ZX insured with them with my 4 years no claims, and wanting to put it on a Classic Policy when its time for renewal I bought a 2nd car, but I only had 1 month for my 300ZX insurance to go but I needed to get the Corsa insured. So I insured the Corsa with them too, but with 0 NCB and was costing £700 TPFT. Anyway, after a month the Nissan insurance was renewed on a Classic Policy so I had 5 years NCB going free. I asked A-Plan if I could put the 5 years on my Corsa now, and they said no. After doing a little researching I found out with 5 years NCB I could get the Corsa insured for £300 Fully Comp and protected no claims. Now which is better? Hmmmmm. I wrote A-Plan and said I wanted to cancel my Corsa policy. I recieved a letter back saying they needed my documentation back to complete the cancelation. I sent it back the same day. 2 weeks later I get a letter from A-Plan, asking why I have not paid my insurance. I phoned them and asked them why its not been canceled and they said it had, so I ignored the letter. A week later I got another one. I phoned them back up and asked whats happening, and was told they have had no request of cancelation of my policy, dispite them sending me a letter telling me what I needed to do. After heated discussions on the phone, they said they believe me but could I send a copy of my insurance from Tesco to prove I that I changed it because of the price. A few weeks later, Tesco wrote asking for my proof on no claims. I phoned A-Plan asking for it, to which they said it would take a while to do, but they would send me a renewal quote from them which will show the NCB on there. I revieved it a few days later and I sent it straight to Tesco. 3 days ago I recieved a letter from A-Plan's insurance with a final notice of payment of insurance. I wrote a letter back the same day explaining what has happened and that A-Plan brokers have probably not forwarded the information to them. Today I recieved a letter from Tesco saying they recieved my NCB notice but when they phoned A-Plan to check its authentisity, A-Plan said the car was insured with them and that the 5 years NCB was being used on the Corsa. WTF!!!!! It just goes to show that some compaines my seem good but when it comes down to the cruch, they are shit. I will never give them any chance at insurance now. Imagine what they would be like with a claim it they **** up a cancelation this much. I should have known really. It took them 7 months to send me my certificate of insurance for my Nissan. Stuart

I have read on the internet that, every one has the right to buy something and if needed return it with full refund it they are not happy with the product or doesnt live upto their expectations. Has any one else seen this or know where it is on the net? I ask this becuase I upped my AMD from a 2000XP to a 2800Barton XP and I have found it to be slower on many things like games. My motherboard is compatible with the chip and has the latest BIOS so its working correctly. I want to return it becuase I dont think its worth the money I paid for it and I know the law says I can, but I cant find it on the net. Can any one show me? Stuart

It's also a NA to TT conversion. Hasnt this one been for sale for a while, or is it another Z that was for sale there with simalar power outputs. Stuart

Yes they do look very much like it. I asked about them a few days ago and I was told that they are hard wearing. With my personal experience, hard wearing tyres are not good for a Z. I had tyres which would cause the back end to kick out very badly going round the easiest of corners. However the new Avon's may be different. Stuart
