You sure that was not Driven on C4 or 5th Gear on 5? I remember one of those doing a section on the Z last year. Was it not on that? Stuart

This is quite a common problem. The clips become lose over the years. Get a screw driver and tighten up every fuel line clip. Take off the centre cover and get the ones under there too. Stuart

There are 2 ways of posting a picture on the forum. 1. Attaching A File One way is to attach the picture using the button "Browse..." located at the bottom of the page when you reply to a "Post" or start and new "Thread". Your Browse Window will appear like the one below. Find the picture you want to post, click on it and then click the "Open" button on the Browse Window. Now when you submit your post or thread, the picture will appear as an attachment at the bottom of your message. You can only attach 1 file per post. Reasons why the picture wont upload * The file is too large. * The file is not a valid format 2. Adding Image Tags Another way is to put a link of the picture into tags. This will cause the picture to appear on the post. First you need to get the link for the picture so the picture has to be on the internet, personal web space or in your rides. If the picture is on your computer, you have to upload it onto the internet first. Get the link by right clicking on the picture and then select properties on the menu which appears. A window showing some information about the picture will appear. Use the mouse and highlight, so it turns blue, all the text next to the Address (URL): right click on the text and then select "Copy" To add your picture to the post, where you want the picture to be type [img=(Then paste the link of the picture here)] Please ignore the word code. You want the part in small writing. Please make sure you dont have no spaces between any of the characters. When you submit your message, the picture will automatically appear when the message is opened. Reasons why picture doesn't show * The link is wrong * The link is old and the picture is no longer there * You have not used the img tags correctly * The file you have linked is not a common picture format.

When I bought my car it has the HICAS removed and I think it was a custom kit. I was done by a company called ABP around Manchester somewhere. Give them a bell. You want me to get the number? Many Americans take the HICAS off and I have heard from many places that when racing on a track the HICAS makes things worse. It also saves a load in weight. Stuart

Dont get those confused with traffic lights. ;) Have you driven at night with them? Are they not a little too bright having them shine in your face? I know mine when all set to the same colour light up the whole of the front 2 seats. :confused: Stuart

Nissan reckoment semi synthetic for the 300ZX, but fully synthetic was not invented when the Z was made. Semi will do, but full is better. Stuart

What you taking it there for?

Power makes the gearbox hold the revs higher until it changes gear. I think the hold keeps it in the current gear. Or it could be the overdrive.

It is a 2 tonne car but does have an engine twice as large as a Z Stuart

There are 2 ways of doing it. 2 get a Y pipe so you can put 2 filters on normally. Or get 2 MAS's and have one either side of the intake like in the picture. Stuart

There should be instructions in the manual for the radio telling you what colour wire does what.

Does any one have and good site where people post up their code of C programming, which allows other people to look at the code and use it. I have to make a text editor like Vi for University and I am really struggling on how to do it. Any help would be great. Stuart

The: Shape, Looks, Seats, Sound, Power, Ride, Practicalness (Put it this way, I went on holiday to Scotland with my girlfriend and out of the Corsa the Z and her new MINI mine had the biggest boot by far ;)) Driving position, Looks you get, T-Tops, Air Con, Power Steering (Best I have ever used) Cruise Control, To name a few.

Thanks for all who helped. I think I have found the problem now. I think the sound card is on its last legs. I took notice of one of the errors and it was sound driver. Also my computer kept crashing when I was trying to access http://www.sportinglife.com and would also crash when I loaded word or write an email. I would get to Dear whoever, and the crash. I then realised it crashes just as the ****er Paper Clip come on. The web site I later found had an advert with sounds on and as that started to play would cause it to crash. I have installed new drivers, but I think they are older ones and all seems well, but I have not tried to crash it yet to see if it was the drivers or if the whole sound system is causing problems. I have done 164,000 miles so far and still going strong. Its got 1 or 2 little niggly problems at the money nothing major and nothing unsual. Stuart

This argument has been going on for years and years. So congratulations to the Gaurdian writer (Most probably a woman) for gossiping what has been said by many other people, trying to pass it off like you have never heard it before. Which is typical of a woman isn't it?
