  1. I am sure Nissan can get those touch up pens.
  2. loud tappet noise, try changing your oil and put some 10-60 if you can or 15-50. The stock temp gauge moving so quick may be due to a bad earth some where. Make sure the connection is good.
  3. The turbo gauge is showing correct. Turbos actually cause a suction when at idle. You will not feel the 2nd turbo come on. Its not a sequential turbo. there is a turbo on each side of the V and they spin at the same time. So 1 turbo supplies boost for 3 cylinders.
  4. I got a new harness and new injectors so everything should have a good contact again.
  5. It probalby would, but strangly enough the other connectors you mentioned where OK even thought they where the same type of connector on it.
  6. I never got one on my birthday :(
  7. Every single injector plug was covered in sulphur. Most of it came flying out when I pulled the plug off.
  8. Not going on Motorways? Down the East Lancs road. The A580
  9. I think you where very unlucky mate missing 2 ships.!
  10. how much are you looking to spend?
  11. Only time will tell :P
  12. less than 20k miles? You will be lucky to find a Z with so few miles on even imports. You will have to pay a lot of money for a later year one to stand a chance.
  13. Zcentre sell them dont they?
  14. Give everything a good clean. Clean the throttle bodies, water sensors, TPS, PTU connector, CAS connector. Change the air filters, fuel filter (Fuel filter is something people tend to forget about.)
  15. Do an ECU check. The PTU suddenley dieing will cause that. No spark will occur so you stall but the fuel will be pushed out of the exhaust causining smoke and flames. Stuart
  16. Looking at their price list 90mm pistons are going for £90(ish) each. Which is very good. But I think we will have to wait and see how much a set will cost for out cars. Stuart
  17. what size pistons are you using MAC? 88mm? or 88.5? or 89 even.

But on the other side, leather doesnt really stain. Any fag ash, sweat or anything will soak into cloth while leather it wont and you can wipe it with a damp cloth to clean it.
  19. I have driven a few autos and I dont like it. :( I will never have one if I can help it.
  20. Kirbs. As official North West meeting coordinator, I think you should give this place some warning. I started off as just a few people now but grown to over 20 people
  21. Dragsters are not Automatic. Most race cars are sequential boxes and not automatic. Sequential boxes are nothing like automatics they are basically manual boxes but with an electrinic motor moving the selector in the box. Dont compair the automatic boxes in F1 cars too. They where manual boxes with sequential change operatied by computer. It was not an Automatic transmission. There is no torque converter in it.
