power steering
Either the speed converter is paying up sending wrong signals to the ECU about your speeds, or the speeds sensor on the gearbox is playing up. I would say the speed converter/de-limter is the usual culprit with imports which have been converted/de-limited.

Us Rwbhp
I thought they did a octain boost too.

power steering
what problems with the steering? Does the steering keep going stiff? Is your Z an import with a speed converter?
-
ecu reset
Safety boost is 7psi. You disconnect the battery for at least an hour to reset it. Turning the ECU screw one way wait 2 seconds then turn it back puts the ECU into diagnostic mode. Sorry. Is that wrong? It seems that most of the stuff I say is BS!

Topspeed challenge 4 21st March 2004
A lot of the people who have modified cars have them off the road at the moment. Plus £30 to have a run down a run way is a little steep personally

Us Rwbhp
I think the difference is we cars we say have 400 bhp, it has about a grands worth of mods on. While you look at the US mods for 400bhp and they are higher than what we have. That is why we say it has 400bhp and then falls quite short when dyno'd. Plus is there a difference between a US and UK horse power? I have never heard this before. We take our car to the rolling road and because we are not getting as much power as people in the US do with a similar spec, instead of saying there is something not right with my car, or my car isnt as high spec as the ones in the US, we say that a whole country just lies about how powerful their Z is. Which ones sounds more realistic.?

More Skyline lights
For starters they are 2 different skylines. one is R33 and the other R34. Its also possible that the R33 isnt a GTR

Insurance Quote. big thanks to Houghton
Did you say it was an import? Did they ask if it was? Did you say it was a 300ZX or a Fairlady? Officially the 300ZX in Japan is called the Fairlady, so when you get an insurance quote you should say Fairlady not 300ZX. There have been a few people in the past who have been caught out by this, but things have got a lot better and they ask you anyway whether its an import or not. Did they know its an import then?

am i unique
But is his a TT? SWB?
-
am i unique
SWB slick to I would say it the most unusuall combination. It should be the fastest version of the Z as it is the lightest by quite a bit. I have only ever seen 1 other like yours.

Ignition modula?
The clock not working is a common thing. There is a tech write up on how to fix it. Some one on the forum used to fix them. Cant remember who it was.

Got my Goodyear Eagle F1s fitted today :)
If anything, one BAD start if you get what I mean. I find that a bad start is a good way of getting the stickers which are sometimes left on the car. :D

What? Is that right? Thats like nearly 33% loss. Thats what 4WD Autos systems lose not RWD autos.
