I heard the wiring is not to fault on the lighting for 100W bulb. They just over heat because they are in such a small area.

I remember the big argument we had at splitting the forum into a General Chat section and a Tech Advice section as it all used to be in 1.

I think it was 2 people Craig and Nico who started a little forum on Bravenet forum which was very basic.

PayPal is owned by Ebay. I have heard lots of stories where people have had accounts suspened because some one. A lot of the time you cant get you money out when it is suspended. Another tip is try to make it so your sale ends at 7 or 8 in the evening on a Sunday.

Was it for every £10? I only used to get 1 for ever time I bought it.

This rebuild I am doing is taking a long time. I think it has been over 2 months with out driving a Z. We did have a Z meeting which made me feel, errrrrrrrrrrrrrr, worse probably ;) Stuart

You can put 100watt bulbs in but they dont last very long because they over heat. Longest I have had them last is 2 months. I tried 133watt too but they lasted less than a month. People have done a HID conversion but I have yet to see any results of it. Stuart

Success story for Ebay. My dad sold a sextant which he bought on Ebay a few months ago for about £300. He was hoping for £500 and with 2 days to go it was about £400. With 3 hours left it was at £800 and was really surprised that it got that high. We went to do some Xmas shopping came back to find it went for £1400, and that the money was already in his Pay Pall :D Also check out what you are bidding on. I have seen a few things where ebay cost was actually more expensive than the cost of it brand new. It doesnt happen often but is does happen. Stuart

Doing some of it outside, but doors, boot, bonnet, wings bumpers etc are beind done in the garage. Its hardly been above freezing in the past couple of week :eek:

I have asked on TT.net and they said put it in self learn and after 3-4 runs in 4th from 2000rpm to red line it works perfectly.

Nearly 2 months after ordering my parts they are finally on the move :D To be fair most of the delay was waiting for parts to come available but then US postal service kept hold of the package for over a week. But I have now got a tracking number, well 2 infact, must be too large for 1 shipment, and its on the move :D :D :D :D YAY!!! The block is done after nearly 3 weeks there and the tubs will be ready at the weekend :D Stuart

The exchange rate is abour $1.88 to the £ but you buy something on your CC and you will only get $1.80 or so. :mad: I have spent a few thousand on parts from the US and I budgeted using that exchange rate and to my shock, the exchange rate my CC used was about 4-6% worse off.

Even though the Norton price is a very good price, 3000 miles is not much at all. There wont be many Z owners on here who do less than 3000 miles.
