Stock is 9psi or 0.62bar. 7psi is safety boost. Sounds like your car is in safety boost. Do an ECU diag check.

The idea of a boost controller is you tell it what PSI you want. What modifications do you have? If you have a standard chip, dont go ver 12-13psi. If you have and it chipped, you can goto 14-15psi

Japanese cars have a bronze/yellowish tint to them. UK/Euro spec have a dark/blue tint.

Sounds like the engine mounts are on their way out.

People seem to enjoy these days so I am trying to gain interest for one in the North West. I have found a place in Preston and I am enquiring whether they are able to do it. Is any one interested? If so can you post your interest so when I get a reply to my email, I can say so far we have so many interested. Like I said, its in Preston which is alot closer than Thor and SE for the Northern lot. ;) I have no information on price yet or of their dyno system, but they do seem to specialise in rallying cars. Welcome to the forum. Do you have any pics of your car? A few people may be interested in your 17inch wheels. The numberplate does not ring a bell.

The problem is, computers are moving so fast now upgrading your computer usually means motherboard and chip. You could get a AMD 2800+ or something for quite cheap, but will only really allow you to upgrade to a 3200+ which isnt that much of an upgrade. AMD are spending more time on their AMD64 and FX range so I doubt any more XP chips will be coming out, The AMD64 and FX are still quite expensive, but if you buy one of these there will be faster ones coming out and in a few years it may be a simple chip change to make your computer faster. You could get an Intel, but recently Intel have just been making their chips a little bit faster every few months or so or adding more cache onboard. If the continue this, you can get a decent chip now and in a few years, if the chips basically stay the same, you can just upgrade your chip. However Intel have been adding extra cache in their chips which makes them go faster but there may be issues whether the motherboard you chose will be able to take a chip with extra cache. More than likely it will, but its not 100%. To complicate things more. Intel may completely change their chips like AMD are doing now. The new AMDs are 64bit chips and only work at 1.6 - 2.0Ghz but are keeping up with Intel's fastest chips and beating them in a lot of areas. The Intel chips will start to have a lot of problems if all they do is increase the speed, which may mean they will look into the 64bit market and slow the development of the normal Pentium4. How much money do you have to spend on a computer?

There is a problem with the gears locking, especially on cars this old. As much as you think it is sealed, dust will get in there.
